Yeah I'm pretty sure that's gonna show how easily he will unhinge. imagine in January when the lakers are below .500 and he's on the hot seat. How will he be like then? Season hasn't even started yet and he's already dropping the F bombs on his first press conference.

JJ can't afford to make any mistakes in strategy decisions in crucial situations. One or two missteps and Lebron will check out, he may not take over the huddle and shove JJ aside but he will not listen and will be visible to all the other players and dissension will boil up among the team. Especially any defensive adjustments that don't work out. JJ may have absorbed defensive concepts from his long NBA career but he was an offensive specialist and could not play much defense.

The way I'd handle Lebron is to bring him into the coaches huddle during timeouts. He's one of the smartest basketball minds in the league, has a pulse on the players , the opposition, and the flow of the game. Why wouldn't you want his opinion? In the end, JJ should make the final decisions and learn where and when to rely on the experience and knowledge of Lebron and his other coaches.

JJ might be the Lakers next Pat Riley. The roster isn’t bad. Last year they just struggled.

As a Laker fan I’m not big on the JJ hire. I think it hurt us in free agency. We keep hearing how no one is going to out work JJ. Yet he won’t take the opportunity to get some coaching experience by coaching summer league. Lakers may have made a big mistake here.

I don’t mind JJ cursing. Let him be him. Though I would’ve like Phil Jackson’s as coach consultant for JJ. And rondo should come in last peice

It's definitely open season on the Laker hate on ESPN. They are going to nit pick on every single thing. Trashing JJ saying a curse word? Really? Next they are going to be saying he shouldn't be wearing an expensive name brand suit because it draws too much attention to him and not the team. Dude hasn't coached a single game and they are already talking like he's failed.

Why don’t we all just let jj be and not hang on every single word he says yes it’s his first time being a coach in the nba there’s gonna be plenty of things to learn and and honestly I believe jj will be able to overcome the learning curve. As for jj and lebron, jj is the head coach lebron is a player on his team he should treat him as a player

The obstacles are the management. They need to shut their mouths and allow coaches to coach. They need to hold players accountable regardless how much they pay these players.
