    I feel WG has F'ed us all by secretly changing the credit making in the game. Absolutely NO WAY you should ever lose credits when you finish in the top 10 and get the win. Especially at Tier 10.

    I know right especially if your hitting most or all of your shots, i understand if the player simply empties an entire gun on the ground or blind fires and hits absolutely nothing but his/her own accuracy stats, but its bonkers when you loose credits for hitting 90%+ all of your shots

    i have 100% noticed they have messed with the credits earned. I cant stay afloat anymore.I cant play high tier tanks very often as they drain my credits When it no longer is a fun game but rather a struggle and hard grind for credits its time to packer in

    I covered both battles on my channel. In the first battle you were correct, the player (Finger nail) spent too much time looking for counter battery and ignoring spotted enemies. You need to fire as soon as you are loaded and if there is no enemy in sight to tell your teammates that you are waiting for them to pull their finger out! The second thing is not to 'scroll' the mouse to relocate the aim. He was taking too much time to scroll the mouse between the targets, when there is a technique that allows you to switch aim instantly. You hold down the CTRL key and move the mouse pointer over the mini-map and then RHMB (right hand mouse button) on the place you want to see and the aim view goes there immediately. This saves you about 3 or 4 seconds of scrolling, during which an enemy tank might disappear from view. Also - if an enemy tank does disappear, T-key the spot on the ground. Most times the enemy tank will not be too far from that spot and if they reappear seconds later, you will have kept your aim on the correct spot and only need to adjust and shoot.

    Also moving closer to the enemies when the whole team is close to them increases the chance of hitting something.. but still .. full hit on a target and getting almost 0 damage is frustrating, and people keep complaining about arties, the only thing that that will prove is that they are to stationary or to predictable, moving just forward and back and thinking an arty cant hit you is too funny to see, also 3 tanks together with 2 arties spread aronnd is stupid, don't stand close together.. if you are so anti arty, just play them and find out how it works.

Even just in the flighttime of the shell, they will go completely outside of the blast. And you have NO IDEA which direction he went. Unless you've seen that the player is a noob that always follows a specific pattern, trying to fire blindly is completely worthless, you're just gonna run out of ammo. And waiting for them to reappear, completely useless unless there's no other targets at all, because just waiting for that, THAT IS wasting time. "and the aim view goes there immediately" And your aim is still ruined by the movement.

    avg games na server M53m55 120,004 Battles Damage (1,056 ) Avg per game he this suc player did that @ 4:30 ish not counting the 2+ blind shot he hit 3918 to end game +10 stuns if that had been a win it would be a ace or least a 3 mark game SUM up^ suc player did close to 3 times avg damage he could have had a bit more and yes there was ton of poor play there but as far as him having 2 marks he's earned that ez and your talking out your azz pal

    M53/55 Best SPG in game for doing missions and fun (only bad is low amount of ammo). Rock on Tankers 🤘😎 (and yes, SPG players are Tankers too 🤣)

    average game is 5.12 mins so 20 rounds more than 30 sec. reload= 10mins+ of ammo of constant firing. you are 1 of the tards that cant count to 15 math is hard. for tards

    i just rage quit for the night after firing 6 ap shells from my bc155-58. 6 direct hits. 1 ghost shell, 5 no damage including a t110 shot up the arse who had 14hp left. RNG is just bull shit.

    I stopped playing WOT years ago... I sent in my video to Claus, and he included it in his review... Was in a T-29... A tall tree tipped over 30 yards or so infront of me, no bushes around... Russian tank then appears... That was my last game...

    One of the first routines on a computer we learned to do in college was build a random number generator. It was a junior college but we were lucky to have a professor. He pointed out that real "random" is never truly achieved by a counting sub-routine in code. A RNG will have a coin flip 15 times to heads while we know in reality, that's never going to happen. WOT is obviously has not resolved this issue of true randomness. Thanks Claus!

    This whole weekend of X5 was a shit show. My teams could only get 1 win in 3 games. All 3 days I went 9 losses in a row before a win, and of course the mission was to win 3 battles. Unreal.

    22:55 - That's the perfect aiming as an SPG, Claus. The recticle is almost fully compressed, so there's little margin for the RNG to deal with (you do know that SPGs have the worst accuracy of the game, don't you?). If you have a short to medium range artillery, try to position yourself on a way that the recticle is compressed as it's showed there ( 22:55 ). Also, as the shell will come at the very end of the range, it will come almost vertically, increasing the chance of penetration. Grille with the upper gun is the best for understand this knowledge. About the 21:59, if you notice the minimap, there are two white lines that shows the gun traverse. The shot on the leFH was at the limit of the gun traverse, and asap the leFH moved, the Grille player moved too, and when the SPG chassis move, the recticle bloom will go to the maximum. That's why the M53/M55 player of the previous battle was moving "so softly" his aiming. He was trying to maintain the recticle as little as possible (to increase accuracy). About the M53/M55 battle, that's what the player can commit himself. You will go for the counter-battery? Or you will do as Claus is saying (to be ready to shoot asap you're reloaded)? You MUST have to decide it during the first 30 seconds of the loading battle. My answer to that? It depends. If there's a map like Mines (for example), that is too short to safely reposition yourself (with a low speed vehicle and a low camo rating vehicle as most SPGs are), and there's more than ONE SPG on the enemy side, MAYBE I'll go for the Counter-Battery (and I have 152 Counter-Battery medals). Because asap you shoot the enemy arty, he will know from where the shot came, and he'll know where you are. Remember: you normally can't relocate safely in Mines, as an SPG. At the very end of the battle, instead of trying to shot on what's spotted, he was just trying to prepare an ambush. If he'll die, he'll die fighting and not just giving away his HP for the brave unicum that is trying hard to get more damage to increase its stats.

    I remember one of those great advices Claus gave some years ago... He would refer to SPG camping at bad spots like: "Press W button, so your Self PROPELLED Gun can move". From time to time I type in chat, "Do you know that your Self Propelled Gun can move?

    As an SPG when you absolutely have to be on target the second you are reloaded. My standard was that at about 10 seconds before reloading complete I had to be in position and a target selected. So with a 34 second reload I had 24 seconds to move, scan the map, see if I could spot for counter battery, and INFORM MY TEAM WHERE I WAS AIMING... so that they would keep a target lit. In the last 10 seconds it was get the pipper as small as possible and fine tune plunging fire.

    Congrats to both players who had these replays appear on WOT Arty Noobs. As I always say - keep those tubes hot and pumping those rounds out. The more enemy tanks that you hit, the more likely you will get a confederate and as soon as you've fired, you should know your next target and be dialing in on it as soon as you have relocated.

    Thanks Wolverine! Yes, the M53/55 didn't seem the most efficient gameplay, but I noticed he did have 2 marks on his barrel, so he must be consistently very good in that SPG. I don't have 2 marks on mine. And the Grille was awesome! The way he took out that T67 was perfect.

    4k dmg when the average with M53 is around 1k? That is extremely good. I'm top 10% of arty players and a 4k dmg game is still just a one in maybe 25 games(4k+ combined is maybe 1/5). I just checked, my avg dmg with M53 is currently ~1500, with another 800 chockassist avg, so 2.3k combined. That's a bit down as i've had a lot of bad games with it last month, so i'm down at 79% again, at best i was up around 94%, almost got 3rd barrelmark...

    I am definitely seeing increasing bot-like movements in the game - mostly at the start in my team, but also in enemies just sitting ignoring you while you farm them - mostly in blow-outs in favour of my team... I'm at about 80-90% in believing in bots in pub games. It might take some work, but you should do a vid on this...

    Hi! yeah, ur right about the timing, preaim and Fire as soon as loaded. The dispersion has gotten worse over time, long or short, 4 dots on a hill, rock or, building and it will hit just that. To the question, tier4 and sound detecton? Yes, of course either buying it up or, playing the tank so long that it's trained. Btw, sorry I just can't help leaving Long -Winded comments. Earning credits has gotten very tight. Spam that gold ammo and you will pay for it. Where some believe that credits aren't tied to Gold or money. Very dim those people are. Like they don't understand why WG changed it to credits from gold.

    Mastery is tied to stun assist. I keep teaching all Arty players to shoot at targets that are in sight of your teammates, so they can take advantage of the stunned tanks and use the T-key to mark the target so that the arrow points at the target you will be hitting and after you hit it too. If you repeat the targeting arrows, it does encourage teammates to look at the stunned target.

    Ever_For_Fun did have a wonderful game, but he also made a few mistakes. The problem with shooting at long range against the 105 leFH18B2 was that he was at the edge of his field of fire and the Grille only has a 10 degree arc. A small adjustment was going to cause a massive bloom in the reticule because the vehicle would move. Applying the brakes would prevent such a bloom, but the target might move outside the field of fire as the Leffie did and then you would be unable to fire unless you adjusted. He saw the Hetzer in the background and correctly assumed that the TD would stay still long enough to allow the aim to dial in and managed a good kill at extreme range. However, he also spent time dialling in on the Leffie again, fired and looked away to find a new target without seeing if the shell hit the target. You should always stay to see the shell land as a follow up shot may be required and you deny anyone watching the replay the opportunity to 'see' the kill. I do understand that there is quite a bit more counter battery on the NA server than there is on the other servers. So relocating after a shot is necessary to avoid being killed. However, that does not mean you should shoot and look away as you relocate as you can still stay in the aim view to see the fall of shot whilst using the W, A and S keys to put the SPG elsewhere. The shotgun on the T67 was sublime. He was actually using the 'extra' HE shell so the alpha was 580 instead of stun HE 480 alpha. The 'extra' HE also has a splash radius of 4 metres instead of the stun 6.7 metres, but that difference is negligible, so the 'extra' HE made a better choice - even though he had run out of stun shells.

    12:55 ... I love SPG Day! But you are totally correct. As a predominantly SPG-player, when you are reloaded, you shoot at what is lit. and only rare occasions do you wait for that specific target. 93.7% of the time you have to be watching the minimap and not the field. If loaded and sitting, waiting for the one special target to light up, you are doing your team no good. If you can hit a 100% HP vehicle a time or two you have brought him down to 80% so your team has to do less work to kill him... you may even force him to use a repair kit or med kit, further giving your teammates an advantage when they get a shot on them. SPG players, the minimap is your friend, use it more than any other tool on the HUD.

    Biggest mistake is to still only use topview when shooting, switch using "G" to get a better idea if you are going to hit or not based on topography.

    At the beginning of the battle I look in certain areas where lights will go. I report downed fences on prok. Trees being pushed down in other maps. Buildings getting damaged on airfield. Say you have 30 seconds between reloads. Relocate after your shot for a few seconds look for enemy arty for 10 to 12 seconds ( Also whenever you do not have a shot on the map). Even though it says aim time is 4 to 5 seconds you really need 9 to 10 seconds to fully aim. If you're lucky enough to have a long battle and run out of ammo, I move forward and try to spot,,, Ram or at least report where the shots are coming from that kill me.

    Thanks again Claus, SPG's still a bit too slow and frustrating for me, even as an old fart. I just pull my leaf blower out when I get really sick of arty just to make sure everyone else is as pissed off as i am. Its a grumpy old man thing, nothing like a lehf and a cheap bottle of scotch 😊

    Penning is much harder at high tier, but also lower teir artys didn't get such a sabotaging DMG nerf. This is why the leaf blower is so painful to play against.

    As for the arty warning skill, I have seen it used at tiers as low as tier 2 and 3. It should be noted, while they are collector vehicles now, tier 2 and 3 SPG's not only exist, they are fairly common on the battlefield.

    dont forget lefBlowers have better view range then tier 10 scouts so as a lt or med even td player they can spot for them selfs end game or rush dumb scout and more then a few times i have hugged up to a big rock hill and been 1 shot by them in a game where 10 full aimed green lite shots miss or bounce 90% of my losses feel very rigged

    I noticed in the first game that the 2 bot heavy tanks you mentioned at the beginning of battle had zeros at the end of the battle. It wouldn't have helped the poor decision making by the SPG, but real people may have helped the rest of the team.

    Firing as soon as you are loaded is easier said than done. If your team is not spotting, you have nothing to shoot at. That happens a lot when you are tier 10 with lots of tier 8 on your team. The low tiers will flock together at the red line, leaving you blind.

    In the first game , when playing my SPGs , I play A1-2 or A9-0 on the map. I find those are the best spots for me.

    I'm going to use up my credits then pretty much walk away. It takes too long to grind skills/perks... earn credits without spending $. The game has become more like work than entertainment.

    The biggest mistake SPG players make is continuing to hit battle in a completely neutered and paraplegic class forced to play on [most] maps that block shots w/terrain. 2:30 is arty gameplay 90% of the time.

    The arcade style of 4 to 6 min games are less atractive to me. I started playing WOT since 2013. But the fun is leaving me. Dumb rng. Credits, other games are beginning to look more appealing to me. To bad, i had fun 4 years. But thee changed the game. Looking 4 an otter playerbase i guess. But still love to watch your channel.     Shot efficiency is essential for SPG's, providing you have targets to select. My strategy was to target who I considered the most dangerous on the enemy team (ie: most kills). I wouldn't have assault mode on playing a SPG. There was a time the max tier for SPG's was tier 8. WG should have left it at that, it was a big mistake having tier 9 and 10 SPG's, utterly pointless. Higher tier SPG's should have the "one shot" restored to make it worthwhile playing them.

    Very situational, based on what map you are on. Clearly if you have no targets you should move, but there are times you can be worse off, and especially in high tier end up getting spotted as you relocate! The minimap is your best friend.

    Dedicated SPG player with 2marks on every spg even leaf (yeah I am that filthy) and fully agree : you don't hit what you don't shoot so I tend to shoot as soon as I am loaded and sometimes the magic happens !

    ON that first missed shot you replayed, the cursor indicator INDICATED it would fall short of the aiming point, and it did. Nothing unusual.

    Considering how bright the tracers are, you would be better looking for them in 3rd person view rather then top down, then going top down once you know what area they are in

    lol, I had all members of my crew die once, probably 4 or 5. I couldn’t figure out why my tank was dead. I had more than half my HP left yet my tank was dead

    When a tank is on a down slop your zero point should be beyond the tank, when on a uphill slope aim in front. Then on the flat non moving zero on.

    Frustrating to watch first Arty game. I totally agree. You have to have a shot lined up on every reload, even seconds wasted kill games and damage.

    when i arty (and thats a lot more then it used to be ) the guy that spends too much time counter will almost always cost the team a win i stopped the counter stuff (unless i got incoming ) from red arty but i have had lots of games on this prok map where i had 1500 + damage 4 or 5 min into game and i have 6 arty misses around me as what we had on the red team was not a arty player he was a arty hater just trying to counter that light you see leave the gun was cool for like 2 weeks you almost could not miss it but some underhanded nerf its no better then it was unless your out of over head view

    no his team suced ass he finish on top avg games na server M53m55 120,004 Battles Damage (1,056 ) Avg per game he this suc player did that @ 4:30 ish not counting the 2+ blind shot he hit 3918 to end game +10 stuns if that had been a win it would be a ace or least a 3 mark game SUM up^ suc player did close to 3 times avg damage he could have had a bit more and yes there was ton of poor play there but as far as him having 2 marks he's earned that ez and your talking out your azz pal

    I finally got my Object 261. Very efficient machine!. That guy in the first video tends to move his mouse around the battlefield where I prefer to watch the mini map and click on that to focus my next shot. Different strokes I guess.

    Klaus, what you are calling bulls eye is the whole lower half of the aiming "circle" If the shell has to pass through the tank to land on the lower edge of the "circle" it will still hit the tank. That's no magic edge/bulls eye/edge sequence...

    the grille at Tier 5 is a far better player than the Tier9 SPG...the grille was one of my go -to SPGS though...its really good)

    As an arty player I wished you would have tapped the detail report to see if his STUNS had helped in causing damage by his TEAMMATES. I believe 1st game was 0. The main goal for arty is to stun the enemy tank near your fellow team tankers. Most often it's Track Damage, where in your mates can create more damage provided their aim is on point. The stun is helpful too, in that your team can swing to the side/rear of enemy tank. Each time your fellow players strike within the stun period, you in turn receive some credit. There are other points in being a good arty player but that's for another time my friend. Have a Fantastic Day!

    Same occurred in 2nd game. Zero damage from other fellow team players in which the enemy tank was stun. No question, both arty players did well on their own .... BUT.... with daily missions and such, I can get more credits, damage & experience; even if my team were to lose. Hence, I play for free and able to upgrade other tanks.

    I try to put the sound detection perk on my SPG's. It tells me when I am being counter battered.

    the Batchat at the very beginning should have given the correct command, which should always be written “SPOOT”. If he’d done that everyone would have known what they needed to do. That’s what I like to do

    It will be nice to see the replay of the enemy SomuaSM from the first arty battle. He did great as bottom tier t8 heavy in a tier 10 game. And from the second game; crazy that a game like that had cost him credits with a regular account. Its mid tier, no gold spam and this great result. Russian economics 😂

    First replay, target selection is atrocious. He should have supported hill from the start as they were outnumbered. Team lost hill and penned in to corner of map. Purely interested in personal damage.
