She could’ve just bet smaller to see the flop. Two Queens isn’t worth going Al in when there are potentially 4 aces and kings around the table. She probably tried to get them to fold early, but it wasn’t worth it, evidently.

Poker ? Really ?? There are soooooo many "No"'s popping up in my head ....
poker is just lottery with illusion it somehow sometimes depends on own skills. Sad reality is that casino always wins sooner or later.

Must be an awfully strong illusion for people like me who've made a good living at it for decades. Poker is much closer to investing than lotteries. Casinos make money from poker with rake, btw. They don't care what players win or lose against each other as they get paid either way.

@@OGRE_HATES_NERDS because those who lose don't share about them. And count of "winners" is much smaller than count of "losers". And those who "win" don't also share how much they lose in progress as well. It is usual hunter and pray situation. For someone to win big someone has to loose big. Nothing new

@@OGRE_HATES_NERDS it is true that you don't play against it directly. But instead casino takes rake and entry fees. So casino is definitely interested in organizing casino tournaments for larger count of people. And those who "win" also would like to participate in tournaments with larger count of players since it means potentially larger amount of money to win
