I'm around divine 3 bracket and has generally used some of my friends account to play with them around guardian-archon a lot of players in that bracket in SEA has a lot of one tricks and is good player and it all boils down to throws and toxicity around that bracket. Idk about other regions but that's just my take on this.

Yep. These are the following reasons: -0 Communication -5 man core -0 vision in 5-10 mins -Supports Last Hits Creeps -Supports Last Hits Heroes -Supports Don't rotate -Supports? -No Team Items -All Core Items -Core Solo Player/Farm Only/I'm MC/Misguided Plot Armor -What you see, you kill -Greed Is Good -All 5 Players Might As well Install Farmville or do Farm Blogs -No maps -Ping Spam to assert attention -No Draft Plan -No Counter Picks -No Plans At All. And MANY MANY MANY more as to why they can't climb up. Most will likely climb the ranks whilst playing with friends

The biggest hinder is that this game is hard to learn af when you start from scratch

It's not exactly a game problem, it's a society problem. Any multiplayer game will have a corner that has toxic people. 😅

That is true, but I think dota is starting to become a outlier even among the "toxic" games

I think Dota toxicity is being exaggerated. Anything for content huh? Any competitive pvp in which you have to rely on your random teammates that have different personalities different mindsets and different skill levels is inherently toxic.

@@caio9242 Don't assume doing a research about a serious health issue is same as typing comments about a game on youtube. This kind of behaviour is actually more toxic than what you think is toxic. You think you are doing something very important here but all you are doing is wasting your own time. If you like the game play it. If you don't want to interact with other players then don't play it. It be simple as that. You are not someone who can dictate how others play and act.

this has nothign to do with dota, this is content creators and media failing completely at reading the facts. its always the same, 1% of the people get 99% of the attention, meaning the bad actors and because streamers and media get personally attacked from them it get personal and they feel like this kind of people represent the community. Dota the game itself begins at immortal, the rest is just casual gamers, meaningless in a hardcore competitive game. Of course grubby is advancing way faster than anyone else, he is a pro gamer, not the best Wc3 pro gamer but certainly one of the best. meaning he knows how to use keybinds and already has the "pianist" skills to apply, which will only mature over time to the known speed of Dota pro gamers. so the overall analysis fails at the very start, it is just the worst of humanity that dictate the news period

Your opinion is hilarious and wrong and self contradictory. you say only 1% get the attention yet its 99% of the player base below immortal who seem to be upset at grubby. Also calling a few video game players as the worst of humanity is the icing on the cake. Really? NA education.
