I would feel confident using this to chase over water. CMW makes some of the best multirotor BNF’s you’re going to find! I own another of their BNF’s and I couldn’t be happier with the build quality. I think it was worth every penny even though it cost many! You absolutely get what you pay for at CMW.

You looked like you were having way too much fun with this beast of a cinewhoop JB lol. The fact that you had 2 GoPro cameras on it is amazing, obviously it has a fair amount of power and that battery did a great job considering how much weight it was carrying. With just a single camera it could have a decent flight time and still do some serous aerobatic moves, maybe not with as much ability as a dedicated quad designed for those manoeuvres, but still you could get some great video of both cinematic and aerobatic moves. Me personally, I think I would like to have this one for my collection. I have a session 5 so it’s a lot lighter than some of those newer and bigger models, so I’d have an even longer flight time.

Joshua, Joshua, Joshua. You know better. Turn off Air Mode (or at least put it on a switch), consider turning on the crash recovery. No more bumping in to things and having it flip and stick. Other than that I think the review was spot on. I like my Cinelog 35, but I can see the application for the Catalyst works drone. (I have one of their Merica 9" drones and love it for chasing race cars, and just flying it)

I crashed my Drone in a Sea. It was staying there for 40 hours. After i finding and drying it only the LIPO, ESC, FC and Beeper was done. The Motors and the Caddx Vista was working without any problem! For this build I had to change the camera wire to a longer one. So the seal wasn't as good as it used to be. DAMNED IMPRESSIVE!

Funny, I had been using one of my Shen Geyser drones with two Gopro 7's on it and a 1500 6s with average of 3.7 minutes. Yes, it was a bit of a throttle pig but it ran fine. Used it many times with dual gopros until I sunk one of the gopros on my chimera 7 into the swamp from an out of the blue crossfire failsafe. All in alll it worked real good got great video of flying moss covered oak trees and low level views of lily pads and such.

Cool review. They charge an extra $120 or so for the "all weather" version, which I assume is the mostly waterproof DJI air unit that you showed us. Hi Josh Leave it to Neill to do this, first we got the beast and now we are getting a whoop style in a beast class. OK not a Beast, but it is big. So that's how to mount the rear camera. I tried it once and I recorded the sky. I can see a short flight time I have a 7in and the flight time is short. I am trying Graphene batteries and getting a longer flight. My only problem is that whoops are loud. Thanks again for the video and information about this whoop

CMW is a cool company here in the USA. I have a CMW Shocker and i think it is awesome but it does seem that they have a tendency to build heavy quads. I love the way this CMW Whoopmaster looks but under 4 min flight, those motors sounded like they are screaming, even with those 6 blade props. I do like the larger cinewoops, seems to make sense, larger frame more inertia and stability. SO if you drop the second Go-Pro and fly with a bigger battery then yes, i really like this quad. Also, we know why the quads are still a risk even with the guards, the flight controller has a lot to do with it and perhaps those of you that are great with FC setups perhaps the spastic "stick to the wall" phenomenon can be dialed back our out completely. By the way, nice blue Mustang!

2450 on 6s is dynamically limited by the 50k rpm at 6s , it will be over that by about 5k . So i can see it running ok on 5s , but it should have great thrust on 5 or 6s low to mid .I remember running wild willys on a 6s, that was fun. I noticed the solar panels, are you at anytime going to put solar hot water system?, If you do, go for twin tanks as big as you can afford. I had a 2 panel system with 2 40 gal tanks with one being heated by gas. was the best thing I had on my old house.
