I had a Maine Coon cat. He was the best. This breed is super intelligent and easily trained. He was also quite a character. The was orange tiger in coloring and his name was "Chief." He certainly lived up to that name. Other cats did not try to govern the Chief. He totally wore his name well. I lost him in July of 1999 due to liver failure. He was 16 years old. I think of him often and miss him always. Chief, you're in my heart forever. 💖

We had a big cat, a common red tabby, male. I told my husband to pick up a young kitten for the kids for Christmas. He came home from a shelter with what looked like a six month old. He said he was hand raised since birth, it’s mother abandoned a set of kittens, and assured me that he was about 8-9 weeks old. We named him ‘Jingles’. It was obvious he didn’t have many instincts, like cleaning himself. So I had to wash him in the tub weekly, setting him infront of a electric heater on a chair to dry, brushing him. He steadily grew..and grew. Not fat, but big. At full age, he measured one yard long, 17 pounds. About the size of a small dog. He was so tall he would reach up to my waist to be held. He loved hanging over my shoulder like a dead cat, purring. He was heavy, like a large bag of potatoes. He loved leaning up to people, he was very affectionate. He would jump up to the top of the tv entertainment center, and lurk. He also would jump up onto the top of the refrigerator. He likes playing cars with my son, even batting them to get them to roll. He liked playing monster under the bed, attacking ankles, and would hide in the dirty clothes pile in the hallway waiting to attack who ever dared to use the bathroom. Because he was a house cat, I had him on a constant diet so he wouldn’t get fat, he was nimble and animated. He liked watching tv. Guests would often remark how big he was..to go to the vet, I bought a small dog carrier. He got urinary issues due to Iiams catfood that was said to have rat poisoning, and became very sick. No medicine could help him. Seeing pain in his eyes, I had to have him put down at only six years old.

Can we all take a moment, breath, and then chill? As an American, I am deeply offended by these remarks, but I'll at least try to settle this without joining in. Inch = 2.54 centimeters Pound = 0.454 kilograms The math can easily be done with calculator assistance. Just take 2.54 centimeters, or 0.454 kilograms and multiply them by the number of inches/pounds. No need to be rude. Despite being American, I do agree that a single outlier shouldn't change everything, but I suggest that some youtubers could probably make more of an effort to make sure that everyone understands the measurements.
