A good way to test a brand name is to come up with 3 options, tell them to a friend and ask a couple of days later, see which one turned out to be more memorable.

Hot tip. They're actors and make their living from acting on KZread, no different to crisis actors and other types of actors that create our fake reality. It seems they are all the same genetic breed, too.

That candle page was a whole mood. I've been keeping my shop on simmer for a while because I have a full time other job. Right now I only have a couple of stickers that sell consistently so I can rely on third party printing to ease things a bit but if it suddenly took off not sure how I would handle it. For the time being if someone orders it goes out same or next day depending on when it comes in and I'd hate to lose the ability to do that. I feel like it's a great customer service piece to get it out as soon as possible.

Hi Tim, I've been binging your videos for the past couple days and have found them very enlightening. I'm going to set up my own shop this year but I want to cast a bit of a wider net, I want to do stickers, pins, maybe bookmarks etc with my artwork. My niche wouldn't necessarily be a product but rather the subject matter of the artwork. Do you think it's possible for a shop to cast a wider net like this and still have a strong brand? Your own shop is very specialised, as is the example in this video so I'm doubting my direction.

Can you tell us the name of your shop? Also, I know you haven't been on Etsy for a super long time. Do you know of anyone who has had a slower growth to success on Etsy who is on KZread? Like someone who had a shop off and on for a few years and didn't see growth until later? I feel like every Etsy KZreadr seems to be people who experienced like, overnight success, and I don't think that's realistic for most people.

What are your thoughts on rebranding? 🤐 I've had my etsy shop's branding for a year and it's not generic/bland, but sometimes I feel like it could use a little something *extra*! But I'm afraid that could confuse my customers?? Any advice? ;^;

Rebranding can be good! Remember when Google's logo was completely different? It might be confusing if you're changing your name completely though, so I'd be a little more cautious if you're thinking about doing that.

I use stamps for all regular orders and offer express shipping for an extra $10 if customers want it faster with tracking

Great tips! Another important thing is to check whether this name is already taken by someone else, and register a domain name for future use asap. I’ve come up with names I loved just to find out someone else is already selling the same type of products with the same or very similar name. Back to the drawing board!

Tim, does your Etsy shop name have to match your registered business name? I saw this comment on one of your other videos where someone said: "I recently got an email saying that if my store name does not match the checking account used, they'll can cancel me in 30 days." -- is this true? What if your registered business name is already taken by another Etsy seller?

Hi, What if someone claims that I've copied there Premade Logo on my shop. They threat me to remove it, else they will report it to etsy. Does this make sense? Or what actions could be taken? I’d say no , if it’s made on Canva or a computer they likely didn’t pay to copyright it . Also logos are all so generic now a days . Most nail techs have the exact same logo now adays all different sellers on Etsy

Beware with those free font sites like Da font. I realized after many years of using these sites that a lot of these are uploaded by random people and even if you have commercial use OK checked it's not really the case, many of those fonts are actually pay to use lol
