THE BIG PUSH! 🥁🎸🎤🎵 REN (Welsh) - vocals, acoustic, electric, bass mostly Romain Axisa (French) - vocals, acoustic, electric, bass mostly Gorran Kendall (English) - vocals, acoustic, electtic, bass mostly Glenn Chambers (Irish) - drums mostly The Big Push formed in 2017. Initially being Ren, Romain and Gorran with Glenn joining later to play drums. Gorran and Romain met busking, Romain and Ren then met through Facebook while Ren was trying to find a flat mate. They would all busk together and Glenn would sit in as drummer while also playing bass with another friend Rafa. They then decided to become a band and would take to the streets of Brighton and also created masterpieces of their own. They played numerous gigs including a sold out tour of the U.K. and also released a 6 track EP called “Can Do Will Do”. They busked together for the last time on 14th December 2022 and played their final gig at the Brighton Dome a short while later. Having to go on hiatus due in part to Ren moving to Canada for medical treatment and their lives going in different directions. Although they remain good friends and Ren and Romain have mentioned wanting to play together again. This is a mashup of 3 songs: Romain’s up first with “What Kind of Woman Is This” by Buddy Guy a famous Blues singer and guitarist, REN’s next with a Jimi Hendrix classic “Voodoo Child” and last but not least is Gorran doing “Champagne and Reefer” by the legendary Muddy Waters! You want to hear a guitar solo that can make you weep, check out Romain Axisa's latest song Time After Time when you get a chance. The live version with him in a Church is the one that caught my attention. Haunting. He just released a studio version, but I haven't listened to that one, yet. Gorran, has just started putting out some new music that is on my list to listen to. I think I have said it before, Ren's rabbit hole is a whole damn labyrinth. Made me laugh, when you realized the Big Push was another deep dive. I know how you feel, lol. So much talent in this band! They parted ways when Ren went to Canada for medical treatment. I think they will get together again at least for one off performances here and there. Touring like a band usually does isn't really an option right now with Ren's health.

Yes, English man in New York is Sting. TBP does a great cover, all their covers are great. TBP had to break up cause Ren went to Canada for his treatments. They are all doing their own thing. Romain Axisa and Gorran Kendall both have solo music out. Check them out, please. Hopefully, they will be able to play together again .

The Big Push have so many awesome originals as well as their busking covers, my personal favourites I would highly recommend are the videos for Precious and Dignity, oh and also Icarus, swan song, It’s alright… ah hell, whichever you choose you will not be disappointed! 😂

I have truly loved plenty of bands in the past, but none of them vibed as high as these guys. It goes beyond the music to their joy in music and their true brotherhood. I see a lot of great suggestions below me, but I just love to watch Dignity, an original of theirs. The song is wonderful, and the video shows them together playing, writing, hanging out, etc. It is really heartwarming.

Another great reaction! I haven’t heard anything from these guys that I don’t love. Honestly. I don’t know how they can perform without mistakes in vocals or instrumentation. They sound brilliant together. Lots of fun stuff. “Precious”, one of my personal favorites, is an original but also on the more melancholy side. But you can’t miss when choosing songs. Enjoy!

It is 3 separate artists that they crunched together like they do. Ren is doing Jimi Hendrix version, Gorran ,..Muddy Waters and Romain..buddy Guy. They cover these classics so good.

Hey Saeed, great that you dive into the next rabbit hole🙂. And I'm sorry that at least Romain and Gorran have their own rabbit holes too😐. I'm not sure about Glenn, but the RENegades will definitely help. Romain Axisa is the guitarist with the hat, he is French. Has lot's of great songs/videos as well. The other guitarist is Gorran Kendall, he's English. Glenn Chambers, the drummer, is Irish. Not much to say about this Ren, he is Welsh. Nothing to recommend. Everything they do is great.

I'll write it here under this video. I know why I want "Humble feat. Eden Nash" by Ren, because there are so few reactions from Humble. Ren sings so much about deep abysses that have moved us or that we can understand better afterwards that this is heavy food, but it hits. Especially when it's right up your alley. Humble definitely needs more attention and as a businessman - I at least am looking for reactions from Humble and there aren't many. I definitely would have stumbled across you then ^^ Since you analyzed "Loosing it" so blatantly, "Illest of our Time" is full of double entendres and innuendo. It's rap! PS: The fact that you read everything and are aware of it is really blatant, I've never experienced it like that before. Hopefully at some point it won't work anymore because the channel is too big. Great band!

They broke up when Ren went to canada but Ren has said that he would love to get together again. They also all promote each other on their separate socials. One of my Romain Axisa songs is Love without feelings. Worth a listen .

The big push I shot the sheriff , war pigs are worth a look ! Congratulations on discovering the Big push - another rabbit hole is Ren and Sam Tompkins. As you will discover the Reniverse is deep with a lot of cross over and collaborating between these amazing artists. Sam as a solo artist is incredible, Sam and Ren mind blowing. Ren history:. Ren discovered Sam busking as a young teen one day and offered him his amp and to play guitar for him so Sam could get a bigger audience. In Sam's "Time will fly" video you see young Ren and him.

I have written a trilogy that was inspired by my struggles with alcoholism. The first book starts out as a detective novel and the protagonist has inherited my struggles and tries to make end meets and tries to solve a case that sends him into a crazy adventure over the course of the trilogy. It is written in Dutch, but have been thinking about translating it at some point.
