@@jasonremy1627 I have to agree. It's been running through my head non-stop. Ren is like one of those fireworks that explode into sparks, and then each spark explodes into more sparks, on and on. While we, the onlookers, "ooh" and "ahh" and then erupt in applause when we realize it's only the beginning of the fireworks show. Weird analogy, but there it is... 🎇

Ren is still very unwell and likely will be for life. He has to take literally hundreds of pills a day and is in hospital 5 days a week in Calgary, he’s been there over a year now. He wasn’t dropped from Sony. The contract wasn’t renewed when he got sick. He can only eat lamb, beef, courgettes, celery, sweet potato and a couple more veg pretty much and water. He eats the same thing every meal. THE BIG PUSH 🥁🎸🎤🎵 REN (Welsh) - vocals, acoustic, electric, bass mostly Romain Axisa (French) - vocals, acoustic, electric, bass mostly Gorran Kendall (English) - vocals, acoustic, electtic, bass mostly Glenn Chambers (Irish) - drums mostly The Big Push formed in 2017. Initially being Ren, Romain and Gorran with Glenn joining later to play drums. Gorran and Romain met busking, Romain and Ren then met through Facebook while Ren was trying to find a flat mate. They would all busk together and Glenn would sit in as drummer while also playing bass with another friend Rafa. They then decided to become a band and would take to the streets of Brighton and also created masterpieces of their own. They played numerous gigs including a sold out tour of the U.K. and also released a 6 track EP called “Can Do Will Do”. They busked together for the last time on 14th December 2022 and played their final gig at the Brighton Dome a short while later. Having to go on hiatus due in part to Ren moving to Canada for medical treatment and their lives going in different directions. Although they remain good friends and Ren and Romain have mentioned wanting to play together again. Ren was making an Album with Trick the Fox with his writing and lead singing Sony was the label He started to get ill very weak and in pain He said he had to leave the studio to go throw up blood He tried to hide it but just couldn't carry on. He ended up in bed for a year and housebound for years His producer let him keep what he recorded, some of which he put on Freckled Angels album he self released 2016 Ren got a correct diagnosis of Lyme disease at this sort of time and a free offer of Stem Cell treatments in Los Angeles He started to get better for a while after this and began making music with others on the streets of Brighton with Sam Thompkins and later The Big Push they went viral on YT as street performers Needed more treatment after the pandemic and TBP had to disband when he went to Calgary Canada January 2023 He is still receiving treatment there. Made a whole bunch of music in UK the two years before 2023 and made the #number 1 UK Album release last October Sick Boi on the back of Hi Ren going viral and reactors rrdponding so well to his music

In 2022 Ren had to go to Canada for his treatments. That is why The Big Push went separate ways. Ren is still in Canada, still getting treatments.

The Big Push is a whole rabbit hole by itself!! Looking forward to more❤❤❤

His first band was trick the fox. They have some teally awesome songs. And yes, they were signed to sony. Hes still in canada getting treatment at this time. Has been for over a year now.

Ren dropped a few track yesterday. It's called "Fred Again Mashup". Ren took parts of five different songs by EDM producer Fred Again, reworked them into an emotional acoustic track, and made it magical. Y'all have to check it out!

I pray they get back together. Ren has said in live streams he's down to get back together with the band if they are. They broke up when Ren was leaving to Canada for medical treatment. He's been in Canada all of 2023 and said he has maybe 4 more months. And listen to more of them. He's NOT the lead singer. All 3 guitarists switch guitars and take turns singing. Watch Praise You!

Definitely check out more by The Big Push. They are all so incredibly talented. They followed this song up with a cover of War Pigs which is another great one to check out especially to see Ren's diversity. They also have a lot of original songs which are phenomenal. If you guys like this, check out Ren and The Big Push doing "War Pigs". It's from this same set and is amazing! Also, if you want to see something different from Ren, check out "Crutch". Ren wrote it years ago at the height of his illness and it's hauntingly beautiful. The cinematography is breathtaking and was shot with almost zero budget. The explosion of Ren's vocals at the end will blow your mind. It's so different from anything else he's done, but it's probably my favorite song by Ren. It's truly a masterpiece!

Those songs that you mentioned are from his album Sik Boi that came out in October. He just released the lyric videos for them. Murderer video was filmed much earlier.

Ren signed for Sony in 2010 and started recording an album for them. It featured his friend Charlie on bass and was to be released under the name of Trick The Fox. He got so sick that he knew he couldn't complete the album. Sony let the contract expire - they did not drop him and there is no bad blood between them at all. In fact they gave him permission to release about half of the tracks on the Freckled Angels album (2016) which had been recorded/intended for the Sony album.

After our second reaction video of Ren we did the 3 part of Money game. We was told in the comment section that they did not drop him and there was no bad blood between them. But…… even if that was the case. If I was Sony I would have searched every corner of the world to get him help and do whatever it takes to get him back to music. There is no way in the world I would have parted ways with a living legend like Ren. Just my Humble Opinion. Thank you for tuning in. -KB

We only ever see Ren on his good days. If he's not having a good day, he has to be super careful and not push ANYTHING or it can cause a crash that can stop him for weeks. So we just don't see what it looks like for him to have a bad day. The point of going to Calgary for treatment is the hope of having fewer bad days. Even with the improvement he's had with the treatment in Calgary, after the Sick Boi album was released in October (after 9 or 10 months of treatment in Calgary), he still said in an interview that he doesn't think he can tour in normal ways/on normal schedules. Lots of people look like they're in good shape/are well, but still have health conditions that are intermittently debilitating. Anyway, my thought is that no matter how much they all love each other (the band was SUPER tight as friends), The Big Push would have been *severely* limited in how much they could perform, due to Ren's completely unpredictable health. No matter how close they were, no matter how much each of them believes in the other as phenomenall songwriters & musicians, five years of a band doing everything they could to "make it" around Ren's health, hoping he would improve... well, not only do the other band members deserve to see if there's another path for them, but *Ren* of course had to try to get better so he could have more if a life back. But no one knew whether the treatments would work for him or not (and in fact, treatments for this kind of shit can actually have the opposite effect for some) and no one knew how long he'd have to stay in Canada. So they disbanded. Hard to say whether they get back together again. No matter how amazing the band is, no matter how much the guys love playing together, the fact is that Ren's solo career unexpectedly broke big. You can't put the toothpaste back in the tube. Maybe he wants to pursue his *own* music now. For all we know, Ren might decide to go to LA rather than return to the UK after he's done in Calgary. If he does that, I sure hope we'll still see occasional collabs with the other guys, or maybe even an occasional show somewhere. They're so great together. A final lil bit of trivia - you guys watched Ren's post-treasure-hunt/pre-MG3 video Eden, a few weeks back. When Ren's talking about the choices humanity is making near the end of the video, he says we could choose to make paradise on earth. The video clip he shows as he says "Paradise" is a clip of Romain during one of his guitar solos on the Red Suspenders Ren day you guys just watched (tho it might have been one of the other sonfs of course) ❤ They really, really care for each other & want the best for each other. ... you will soon find that TBP usn't a Ren backup band. Certainly all 3 of the guitarists are amazing singer/songwriter/musicians (and while idk much about Glenn the drummer, I certainly really appreciate him as a drummer!)

Ren has said that Sony did not drop him. He became so ill that he had to go stay at his mother's in Wales. He was almost completely bedridden for several years & the contract just expired. He has also said that the band broke up because the other 3 guys had other things going on & he was leaving for Canada. Romain is now recording wonderful solo music. Last I heard, Gorran is busking in Italy. Glenn got married, moved to Thailand where he's doing data entry. Ren has been in Calgary, Canada for at least a year & a half. He estimates that his health is at about 70% but he will never be 100%. Too much damage was done during the time he was misdiagnosed. His legs still hurt all the time, "like the bones are on fire." There's a really good recent interview on The Zach Sang Show.

The Renegades call this his Red Suspenders concert, and the UK fans call it the Red Braises busking session. I’m an electrician and I was working in Brighton when they were doing this busk and like an idiot I just walked past because I was busy 🤣. It is nice seeing Ren get big , he deserves it soooo much mate . He’s been our little secret over here in the UK 🇬🇧 for a long time . He deserves to the success he’s about to get , he’s worked for it .

I believe Lyme disease is a chronic autoimmune illness. It went undiagnosed and untreated for over 7 years I believe. There is no quick fix, he may have issues for the rest of his life from what I have read about Lyme. Amazing his talent, drive, and just love of music, it shines through.

Rens album Sick boi was recorded 2 years ago... Hi Ren was written and recorded after Sick boi was finished... Hence the line about everyone sick of hearing songs about how sick he is... The big push split up because Ren was going to Calgary for treatment and he's still getting treatments... Ren released Sick Boi from Calgary because Hi Ren exploded however his manager at the time told him it wasn't any good and Ren sacked him... Hence the angry rap song about k*klling everything...

All members of The Big Push are also solo artists in their own rights. The Big Push was their Busking Band. Each went off to pursue dreams of their own. All are looking forward to doing more together in the future. But not full time. Ren is healtier, but never be healed. HE may never be able to Tour the same way other artists do. When the time comes chances are Ren will create a new touring style from the Industry Standard that exists now. Renegades are also part of the Gorran Kendall Community, the Romain Axsia Community and when Glen Chambers puts out content we will also fly to him. As we have Sam Tompkins, Vitus, Chinchilla and Joe Flackerz. Joes content is videos and street photos. We are also loyal to Reactors. Many follow many others from the Ren Universe. You would be surprised. We follow Dirt Miller too.. I can only imagine how long the Ren related list is.....in January of 2024 Ren went to Calgary, Canada to hispital Clinic, where he remains still

They broke up due to the fact Ren had to go to Canada to start his intensive medical treatment, it was initially for 6 months but he’s still there nearly a year later, hopefully he will be finished soon

Very LUCKY!! That’s amazing to be able to say that you were there during such an iconic performance.

The song's called 'Hip-Hop' not, 'It's Bigger than Hip-hop' and yes, he was signed by Sony, when he was 19. Just a few months into the contract Ren became too ill to continue and the contract was allowed to expire. He's determinedly independent nowadays. Still seriously ill. Still in constant pain but not bedridden any more, like he was for 7 years, when at his worst.

Wow!

The band broke up when Ren left for Canada for his medical treatments in latw 2022, and Ren still remains in Canada getting treatments 5 days a week to this day. Also 2 other Big Push members besides Ren have moved on to solo careers and all four members are currrently in different countries.

As others are saying, you STILL haven't seen anything yet... Try The big push, trouble so hard....

What’s crazy is. If you was teaching a class about Ren. Rapping would be like 4th thing you bring up. Even though he is one of the best right now. But he is a better musician!
