I don’t understand how people are talking about pressure to a player who helped his team make it to a champions league final, which involved beating the best teams from across the top leagues in Europe. The fact that he even made it to this level shows how good he is. Many incredibly talented footballers don’t even make it to this point. Maybe Man Utd isn’t the best fit for him as a club, but, it doesn’t mean he is a bad player. A lot of the Man Utd players didn’t perform as expected this season either: Rashford, Casemiro, Shaw, Anthony, Martial. Yet, people want to single him out. These armchair footballers man 🫠…

The issue where Sancho's concerned is that he hasn't performed consistently, let alone in patches, since he joined Utd. Similarly, he hasn't performed, by all accounts, consistently at Dortmund since he went back.

@@XboneMalone He's never been given a consistent run of games at the club lmfao. He has roughly 3000 minutes in 3 seasons, that's nothing. Bruno has over 3000 minutes in just this season alone, like it's not surprising he hasn't been able to get going, he's barely been given the chance. He was performing decent last season in the prem when he was given minutes as well, he had 9 G/A in 1500 minutes in the prem. He has showed he can get on the scoresheet but even when he's not on the scoresheet he transitions play well and creates many goal scoring opportunities, if Hojlund had Sancho on the right instead of the likes of Antony and Garnacho, he'd be on 20 goals in the prem.

@@iron6015 Juve were European champions at the time, huge heavyweights, spending money like crazy and their team was worth 150m back then, and dortmunds was 1.5m and Dortmund were scrounging to get an unknown player called Paul lambert on a free transfer from a team called Livingston in 1995 meanwhile juve were breaking world records to sign zidane and Baggio. Dortmund were 45/1 underdogs that night just to put things into perspective.

Unfortunately for him he probably couldn’t have picked out a harder team to face in the final (probably Man City would be harder), Real Madrid are going to instil their experience and control the game unless Dortmund so something extraordinary. They definitely have the players to do it, and enough inspiration out there (like Atalanta against Leverkusen, and Lookman scoring the hat trick. Dortmund have Adeyemi and Fullkrüg to do the business for them especially if Militao starts the match)

⁠To be fair, we cannot deny that Sancho was never this good at Manchester United. He quite literally would just never take on his man at all. He’d be 1 v 1, with a defender who is not exactly one of the best, then decide to just pass back. He’s been put in countless positions and it never worked. At dortmund he’s a VERY different player

Can we be honest please? Sancho hasn’t actually been good since being back at Dortmund. He has 3 goals and 2 assist in 20 appearances.
