Something beautifully full circle about Simon Pegg making a Star Trek joke (at 18:59) on a late night TV quiz show in 2004.... then starring in a Hollywood Star Trek trilogy from 2009 (then 2013 and 2016... with a writing credit included). The universe and it's mysterious ways...

@WIIGGYX I think they were universally hated, Bush and Reagan and Trump still have ardent supporters, with Reagan being something of a deity to some especially conservative people and Bush has supporters because he was president on 9/11 while Trump has racists, bigots and people who are so rock hard about banning abortion and other civil liberties they're willing to sell their soul to achieve it, he also has the support of right wing politicians willing to do anything to get elected or stay in power. But most moderates and democrats (aka sane people) hate them.

he's hit or miss. Usually the earlier shows he's the worst, but later shows he's much better, having learned the ropes over the years. There are many show contestants that weren't good the early years they weren't used to the shows and didn't know how to really have fun. Mel is one, she was horrible in the early years, but she loosened up so now everyone loves her.
