I agree - we need Cata to be separated so it's a choice in addition to or instead of Inferno. I also love using Cata with Channel Demonfire for AOE, especially during Sanguine week when the tank constantly moves the mobs out from under my rain of fire. Thanks for this update!

Shaman is thematically my favorite class, and playing all three of the specs I don't find fun. I know that's subjective so I don't complain a ton, but I'd really like some changes to the class. Seems like it hasn't gotten much of a face lift in a while.

Id like shadow burn to function like old heroic strike. A ogcd ability to weave in when your gonna cap resources or off a proc. Blizzard, make it happen lol

They should unironinically just move shadowburn to a pvp talent. Nobody likes playing around "a chance to have a good cast on execute only" and only take the talent so they can have guaranteed crits.

Noob question sorry! Wouldn't having inferno and cataclysm on separate nodes mean one will be nerfed hard. ??

What if they gave rain of fire a cooldown and made it do more damage and made it generate soul shards..and then maybe enemies hit by rain of fire will take 30 percent of all single target dmg u do

My problem with this destro is that there are too many spells in the talent tree that don't play well with each other, are just too boring to play with or just make no sense gameplay wise, it feels like you have to play them just because they keep bringing down Chaos bolt damage and damage wise you gain more DPS pressing them, they don't improve the flow of the spec nor make it more fun, for me they are even an annoyance to play (I'm looking at you Channel Demonfire). Current Shadowburn is so weak that needs too much investment in talent points to be an actual spell, and even then it's still too out of place in the spec gameplay wise. Same goes for Rifts, they generate shards and do damage, they have a minor RNG based interaction with incinerate and thats all. And about Soulfire...I don't even know what is its purpose here, in the past it used to be a big execute fase nuke and now it is just an improved incinerate (but at least it kinda works within the spec gameplay and doesn't need too much investment). At this point they could just make Soulfire a proc that transforms incinerate into Soulfire and make it interact with all other incinerate talents. Channel Demonfire just deals damage and extend immolate. Cataclysm is really cool and perfectly fits the spec, but is has no other node in the talent tree to support it and also it's overshadowed by inferno. It would be cool to see Cataclysm as an AoE shard spender rather than rain of fire (maybe make it replace it?). Every interaction within spells in the spec is just shard generation or haste procs, and it's too sad that the only new Chaos bolt enhancing talent is just +damage and less cast time. They need to make shard expense be more impactful or more relevant in some way, Ritual of Ruin + Avatar of destruction is the best that happened to the spec in the last few years, but they are not enough to make the spec fun. Maybe making them baseline and adding a bunch of talents to enhance this concept would take destruction out of its identity crisis. Overall this is a big improvement from what we had, but there's still too much work do be done with the spec identity. Also please, bring old Fire and Brimstone and turn Rain of fire into a shard generator again, that was a very unique way of doing AoE (and probably less difficult to balance than Inferno xddd).

I would challenge anyone to make a video of 25:00 about ALL hype on the Hunter changes for TWW !

its obvious they re focusing on groups of classes each time. We see extensive changes to mages, warlocks, DKs, monks, druids and some paladins (only ret for some reason). Its not accident we barely saw anything about DHs, hunters, shamans or rogues.

I would bet that the hunter's dev went into a burnout at the dragonflight alpha (He was the more active of the devs in the forum) and they didn't find anyone to clean this mess.

Why do they not give us a way to do aoe with chaos bolt similar to that pvp talent that makes all our single target spells hit aoe for everyone standing in its zone. They can easily add a talent which makes ur rain of fire have a cooldown however when its active ur single target abilites cleave up to 4 additional target and do explosion damage for a certain% of intial damage i want to use chaos bolt in aoe again i hate spamming rain of fire

I don't want to layer 100 rain of fires in one spot for aoe. I wanna throw out rain, toggle fire and brimstone on and aoe immolate/incinerate/conflagrate. Lingering ground target aoe's suck donkey nuts

still absolutly no fan of wither.. i really wished that demo+affli had gotten a hero tree where you sacrifice your demon to get special upsides. maybe they could've brought back kil'jaedens cunning and mannoroths fury as a final talent at the bottom of the tree to choose from. (maybe better balanced haha)

Not seperating Cataclysm and Inferno after 2 YEARS of constant feedback from players is an absolute joke. I'm tired of this Blizzard. There is absolutely NO REASON NOT TO DO IT.

the reasons everyone plays warlock now is because they are one of the like 6 specs that are currently meta in m+ Destruction has the highest mass aoe damage and no other spec even comes close.

Power overwhelming - 0.5% per soul shard?! Thats garbage...1% for 2 soul shards i mean cmon really?! If they amped it up to 1.5 or 2% per soul shard then it'd be worth it but as it stands i wouldnt touch it honestly but thats just me i guess lol 😅

You’re just gonna keep calling things a Rework when it isn’t actually a Rework aren’t you? If Blizzard isn’t completely changing the rotation and all of the talents then it’s not a Rework man. It’s an adjustment. Most of Legion class changes were Reworks. This is not the same.

I say by looks haven't play hunter in alpham can't say really got back reactly last played hunter pass level 30 was og wrath when still had mana. maybe just me feel lot squisher then I remember anyway. But say hunter good spot feel hunter even if are weak fact ( unless mm with aim shot) move around alot while pewing people in distance and just having pet bites enemies. so I say hunter doing pretty good I think shman need rework for sure aff lock cause werid spender rapture gross ability I feel aff just pure dot spec if really want spender make it unstable affection seed of corruption. That's it then aff be good kinda annoyed that demo don't option demon form but I will say something satisfying summon army send into fight. Desto I like in dragonflight I like simple it is but agree alot comment hate if desto whole rain of fire. But say hunter doing good warlock gonna interesting. But sadly saw rouge set want it tmog I guess playing rouge also priest really interesting I hate leveling a priest ( otherwise I love class ) I might have trouble I might main. Not all hunter player are asshole or dumb do we dumb shit yeah sometimes but few of are smart or play "noob spec" try stand out among other bms (sorry at work my break almost over so don't much time fix this so sorry)

Would be better to display gameplay from people that actually know how to play the specs in the best way possible (not being a dick) just IMO every now and then there are a lot of errors in the rotation that is displayed in the gameplay of these videos
