I love Amy and Howard's wholesome friendship so much.

Howard is actually a Great guy to hang out with.

Howard and Amy would have had more moments together as friends on the show, they have a very funny dynamic and they understand each other very well.

Amy's actor can actually sing! I'm shooketh. In 0:46, she harmonized nicely with the tune.

Well, she encouraged him to communicate his feelings, that's actually a good learning milestone *before* actually discussing the content of said feelings (ideally with Amy herself). Like, in a purely psychological way, she was right.

Maybe. Also Amy and Howard both shared similar insecurities and cravings for intimacy and affection before they got with Sheldon and Bernadette. Amy wanted to sleep with Sheldon but Sheldon wasn't ready for it, which was the source of a lot of their frustrations. From that point of view Howard would have been more compatible with Amy.

Paige would have ended up killing Sheldon if they were together. She was as smart or smarter than him and she was not bullied by him in spite of his efforts to do so. She would have gotten fed up with him pretty quick.
