They may have lost the game, but from a story telling perspective, it’s a cool betrayal twist ending.

When Raj said that he’s always attracted to women he can’t have, that hit me cause I can relate to that

i remember when i saw this episode, i recently lost my grandma who passed from covid 2 years ago. i cried and felt the same like Sheldon where my family and i missed my grandma so much, we wanted her back.

If Sheldon got the wrong trainset for Christmas as a kid, then Santa definitely made the list.

Don't understand why Amy was so upset about raj not liking her. She doesn't even like him.

everytime see shedon´s grandmother in young sheldon i remember this episode, she may be one of the best characters in young sheldon but it contradicts how tbbt says she is, i can not imagine that version of his grandmother singing happly christmas songs, i just cant.

Maybe Connie changed after her husband died. People do, sometimes. Maybe she only did the carols for her husband and once he died she couldn't find the joy in it anymore. Sheldon being Sheldon likely wouldn't pick up on nuances like that.

young sheldon contradicts everything in tbbt - that is why i stopped watching after the first season - it sas not even funny but it totally contradicts every hing sheldon said about his childhood in tbbt - young sheldon was just money grab by lorre and parsons - i did not fall for it -i will not support such garbage - parsons said he was tired of being sheldon - after the end of tbbt the rest of the cast moved on - but not parsons he was just being a total phony - him and bialick who came to the show late are just two grifters - f them

This is one of those episodes that makes me irrationally emotional. The idea of a kid asking Santa for his PopPop back and then not getting that wish……… It really strikes a chord with me. It’s one of the rare instances of Sheldon actually showing his human emotions.

i was two when i lost my grandfather - i never thought of asking santa to bring him back - sheldon is such a wuss

The best thing about this episode is that it isn’t the best D&D episode in the series.

"last time it was the star wars MMO when bernadette joined and it wasnt the same for the guys" what a nice polite way of saying that she was a super annoying and ruined the game for the others, her partner included.

Young Sheldon starts when he is 9 and about to enter high school so his Pop Pop is unfortunately already gone when it starts. It's a great show. Some plot holes for TBBT but writers aren't perfect,

@@theaces3697 agreed, even though I'm a die hard TBBT fan I'm not one of those unrealistic fans that criticizes EVERY inconsistency. Young Sheldon's a great show! Can't believe they're getting ready to start the last season soon (7).

I hate the leeroy jenkins meme ever since I found out it was staged Also, I might be talking nonsense here I really don't know but logically thinking a New Delhi minute might mean it's really fast since New Delhi is a fast-living city (I guess) so it might mean that a minute in New Delhi is like 1 second in which Raj would take a girl

Yeah, the term is New York minute - for the exact reasoning you surmised. I think they just had Raj say New Delhi instead of New York because Indian.

I'm sad that Sheldon's issue with Santa wasn't addressed further. It's a childhood trauma that clearly wasn't handled well by the parents, and at least his friends could have helped him out, make him find some closure
