Imagine that each line there is a hero who offered his life for the liberation of our country from the horrors of World War 2. Not only Americans should visit this but my fellow Filipinos too in gratitude to these valiant heroes.

In these hollowed grounds of the beautiful American Manila Cemetery, lie the mortal remains of the heroes of WW2, American and Filipino soldiers who died so we may live happy and free. Thank you America, the Philippines loves you. 🇵🇭 ❤️ 🇺🇸

Absolutely surprising content from BGC hidden gem; We have only seen the sheen of it; it goes more deeper if inspected. Congratulation; You just walked along the Halls Of Heroes. The place is an architectural art that transcends time and carries the monumental respect with it.

The American Cemetery is beautiful indeed. A bit ironic though. The dead have the most beautiful spot in Manila, but the living live in poverty, and not so beautiful location like in Tondo and Payatas.

BGC is not in Manila. It's in Taguig -- a city on its own that's ~2x the size of Manila. Both Taguig and Manila are, however, part of the Metro Manila region (formally, the NCR). "BGC Manila" is wrong. It should be "BGC Taguig" or "BGC Metro Manila". "Manila" today is no longer the same as the Manila more than a century ago. New cities have emerged, laws have been passed, facilities relocated, etc.
