Shame that Dark Order are just jobbers for whoever Hangman is facing.

This, to me, was the peak of AEW (so far), Hangman won the title later on, but this was when the storyline hit its highpoint, them getting the big entrance, the purple screens, the outfits... it all culminated in this entrance.

Its mid 2024 and here I am reliving when I loved AEW. My favorite moment in the promotion, ever. Storytelling at its peak as Adam finally acepted friendship outside of the Elite

This was the peak of AEW for me. Chills when Hangman walked out. The pop is insane.

I think the dark order entrance is one of the best ever. I actually got chills watching it on the tube.

@@hikmatsalomo3314 Avengers weren't united when Thanos defeated them. Once the Avengers were all united and fought as one unit, Thanos got clapped and reduced to dust. The Avengers Assemble moment happened in Endgame where the Avengers were all UNITED and on the same page, no separate factions doing their own thing, on their own separate quests with clear unresolved, antagonistic feelings toward one another so you feel stupid for trying to act smart. Hangman was united with the Dark Order and finally found redemption and was no longer alone and still lost......make that make sense. You can't. He was also upstaged by the elite who still have an obsessive need to be loved even when they are heels and dont know how to sacrifice for a other wrestler in order to push the storyline further. Which is they both upstaged Hangman's entrance, confused the viewers with their wacky, babyface space jam entrance despite being the evil heels and defeated Hangman and The dark order, the heroes.........once again, make that make sense. I'll wait.

Hangman's entrance with Dark Order is how entrances should be. I remember Shawn Michael's wife saying entrances are too long and we should shorten it because it gives time for people to tune out. The length of the entrance isn't the problem, it the purpose of the entrance and how much effort is put into it.

2:03 the emotion on the faces of the dark order, bet none of them thought theyd be standing there with that kind of ovation a year ago

You can't hear it so well here, but we were SO LOUD in the arena from the time that promo video started, I couldn't hear a single word of it and had to get on KZread later haha. Most electric, exciting moment of my life, I'll never forget this as long as I live. Missing our Cowboy so much, can't wait till he gets back in the saddle again

Hangman and Dark Order had the best entrance, hands down. It was so badass. Already one of my favorite entrances of all time!

@@stlane3800 the thing is Hangman Adam page is the biggest babyface in whole wrestling scene rn. And kenny omega played a good part in it. Now if you will remember there was a part in dynamite where the dark order said: *you taught us not to be afraid of failure, whatever happens we got your back* this led to him challenging omega. Now aew did well booking page to lose to add more sense in it. Now it serves two purpose 1)keeping the dark order away from tag titles (necessary) 2) creating a emotional match between kenny and page which will end in hangman becoming world Champion without a doubt.

It has to be one of the greatest entrances in wrestling history Literal goosebumps!

2 years later and the dark order/hangman entrance is still one of the best of all time

Hangman is one of the most over Babyfaces I've ever seen. It's crazy how much people love him. Love the dark orders transition to babyfaces. Only AEW could pull off a stable like the DARK ORDER being babyfaces 🤣

@@chriswheeler9639 If he would have beaten Kenny now it would make the big win a bit less important Right now the story narrative is Hangman lost his title shot so he may have lost some of that confidence but this is where it gets interesting and builds the story longer without dragging it. Now Kenny will brag he pinned the one everyone thought would beat him and now nobody can Page could push again and maybe have kind of a gauntlet challenge against the Elite to win back his shot and whe the time comes (All out probably) Hangman would kick out of OWA, imagine the pop at that moment and win the whole thing

They've done a FANTASTIC job with all of this. In Hindsight, Jericho winning was the right move early on, absolutely. But they obviously had Hangman pegged as one of the future faces of he company and have done a wonderful job building him up over the last 2+ years. He feels like a legit superstar now. When he wins the strap the Omega (which I believe will happen), it's going to be one of the loudest pops we've heard in years, IMO.

Still arguably the best video package/entrance AEW has presented. So essentially the best wrestling video package period in the last X amount of years.

You don't have to wear a hat to be a cowboy, but you do need the grit to show your enemies how tough you can be.

Watched this like 5 times already, the juxtaposition between the wholesome entrance of the dark order, and the goofy arragont sell outs in the elite is amazing.

This might be the best constructed entrance ever. I’m not a huge wrestling guy but I come back to this every couple of months just coz of how well done and epic it is.

This has to still be one of the best entrances ever

Am I overreacting by saying this is possibly one of the best introductions/entrances of all time? This legitimately gave me CRAZY goosebumps and just made me realise how much I bloody love AEW!!! Can't wait to see them over in the UK 🙏

-1 is the leader. When Brodie Lee died his son stepped up and took his place as a leader of the Dark Order. He is the one that now sends the team to help Hangman Page.

The biggest mistake AEW ever made was not pulling the Trigger on Dark Order here.

That entrance was LEGENDARY, a real STABLE indeed.

Elite's entrance was funny, but Hangman and Dark Order was straight up badass!

I've seen John Cena's WM entrance, I saw Daniel brian's WM entrance, Shawn Michaels, The Undertaker, any Demon Finn Balor entrance... but this Dark Order entrance... Man, this is it, For me this is the best entrance I've ever seen. Jesus lord the hype, the pop, the video package, the space left for broddie... it has it all!

Dark order : from a dead on arrival dud , to tolerable heels and now the hypest stable of the industry. When Brodie died I really thought the group was done for , can't really believe they pushed through, Crazy rollercoaster ride this group had.

I'm SO HAPPY they brought back Hangman's Tale for this entrance. I love Ghost Town Triumph but I always thought he would use Hangman's Tale again for a big entrance with the whistles. But the purple remix of his titantron and everything was just brilliant. I could watch this entrance over and over again. The way he walked into the spotlight, Hangman is a megastar man!

Still watching this epic entrance in 2024

When AEW first put Page and the Dark Order together I was skeptical on how well they would fit together. HOWEVER.... After seeing AEW's Cowboy step out with his group of Outlaw bandits behind him... It just feels right!!

I've seen this 4x times today . Damn the entrance and the ring apron moment gives me chills.

That Page & Dark Order entrance was epic, everything in wrestling and it doesnt take a huge ppv for AEW to do a cool entrance. We get them live free on Dynamite, AEW is just a whole another level of great its like night a day compared to its “competition”

Exactly. This is free tv right here and they went all out. It's called giving your fans what they WANT which other companies don't do cause they make a show for 1 person. This is how you make names and keep talent relevant and happy.

I think part of it too, is they don't look at it just as a tv show or just for ratings and rights fees, they really want a passionate packed arena full of fans, so if they show everybody what to expect on any given show they will come back for more.

That was one of the BEST entrances I've ever seen in my life. Thank you Tony Khan for bringing my love for pro wrestling back. We need more people like you in the wrestling industry.

The one thing I always liked is the spotlight sequence showing each member of Dark Order before Adam comes out.

3 months later and I still get goosebumps every time I watch this.

Ngl the Dark Order and Hangman entrance made me tear up a bit. I keep remembering Brodie Lee and it feels bittersweet that he didn’t get to experience an AEW crowd. I’m so proud of DO and how far they’ve come. 💜

The Dark Order entrance was on another level of hype. The cowboy video package, the music, the colors and then the spotlights, my god…the crowd was going crazy as it was but listen to the crowd going extra loud when the Hangman spotlight hits. It legit brought me to tears how invested I am in this goddamn cowboy story. The pop when he kicks out of the one winged angel is going to be fucking nuclear💜
