BET Awards were like any other show, just weaker artist. The pre-show and carpet was better in my opinion. It was pretty simple and people had nice outfits, despite what others say. I feel they let some of the wrong people perform. It’s the garbage rappers that ruin it. No good singers or real rappers. But that was music for the past year, so it’s not BET fault. They go by what’s trending. And the people that were there sums up what music has been like recently.

Due to the highly amount no-talent so-called artists becoming more and more popular/famous because of our own poor taste who seems to be the face of it doesn't seem like we're going to get it any better anytime soon (which alone in of itself is very sad).

hopefully this is a lesson to the event planners... not everyone needs to be invited to the cookout. some can just stay home

The BET awards used to be so well orchestrated and it was a place to showcase real black talent, not it’s a clown show and all over the place.

Miss the old bet awards. The people winning them made the awards so much more special back in the day and the awards felt like they had more value. Now they hand out all awards (at all shows) like candy or a participation medal. 😢
