What an interesting walk, wish we’d had time to do that, when we visited York.

Saw some sections of wall I recognised. I am sure Cliffords Tower is much more interesting than our visit 20 years ago. Reminding me York needs to be a revisit. Gah - stop making me want to go see so much again on top of existing bucket list stuff. So much to see, so little time. I envy you your long exploratory visit! Great vlog again thanks.

Love a city wall walk great views and a different perspective. I was shocked by the lack of railings in UK and Europe but as my tour director advised just don’t fall, I had to explain I’m from the nanny state of QLD Australia where yellow lines can be found on every possible hazard. 😂 thankful to say I never fell while travelling although I had the need to crawl to the viewing platform on Mt Pilatus, no rail 😯

LOL. They DO invite the stylish young ladies to remove their stiletto heels before stepping out onto the Schilthorn viewing platform though - but only if they want to. 😱

Hey Rob. Great Vid. I searched York bar walls because I live here in the centre and heard that the Romans didn't build all of the walls on a group so i came to investigate. When i saw you i actually remember seeing you. I actually walked past you that day and thought that chap is vlogging! Totally random that i should find your content. I saw you messing with your camera outside the three legged mare pub near the minster and bootham bar. :)

@walkaboutwithrob yeah man totally. It's so strange I should stumble upon it. I remember thinking as I walked past that you might not be filming at that point but yeah totally remember seeing you. Lord knows where I was walking to! Likely the pub, haha. The weatherspoons where you had a pint (punch bowl) is literally 50 metres from where I live on Micklegate. I'm looking at the bar as we speak. It's safe and sound and as it was when you were here last. You did the city proud in your vlog!

4:50 Very strange thing to say. I would like to think he said or done something nasty to you to warrant that. I have long hair and am extremely socially anxious, and the overwhelming and persistent belief that people think badly of me is what keeps me from going out to join the world.

Wow! Not sure why YOU got offended when he WASN'T EVEN TALKING ABOUT YOU! LOL! He was being funny! And it went r/whoosh straight over your head. It's called satire, you goose! I'm ugly AND I have long hair. I can at least cut my hair - and so can YOU! So why get your knickers in a knot about something you actually HAVE control over. *sigh* No wonder people call you a Snowflake. THAT's what you should be worried about. But you prefer to be a martyr and purposely make your own life difficult so you can garner sympathy from others. Well you're not getting it from me. Get over yourself and grow up.

@@AlphaGeekgirl 1. I am australian. At what point did being an asshole equate to being australian? 2. I think i have a good sense of humour. That's why i didn't find the joke funny. Liking lame jokes doesn't give the person a sense of humour. Quite the opposite. Understanding quality in humour is much preferable to laughing at any old attempt at a joke. The shit comedians must love you!
