You can always recreate momentum. 💕💕 I love you and your videos and your opinions about writing, and it's okay to feel whatever you're feeling. ❤ I just want you to know, that it doesn't matter for how many days you haven't written, or if you've written 100 words in a day. IT'S OKAY! It's all good. It's okay. 💕 Also, don't write on the days it doesn't feel good. It's not worth it. Take breaks like a badass. ❤ Take off days from writing with a carefree attitude. Don't take anything seriously. ❤ Writing is supposed to be fun! Don't listen to anyone who normalises having hard days while writing. Normalise napping when uncomfortable while writing. Normalise closing the laptop. Normalise dancing in the living room, laughing about the funny scenes you've written!❤ Be easy on yourself!! 😄 Take naps when stressed! And it's okay to write 100, even 50 words a day. Please don't be hard on yourself. Progress is progress. 😊❤ While I do believe that writing everyday keeps us in the flow, I also believe being in a good mood before starting writing is extremely important. ❤ I say this with love, but don't overthink if you don't write for a few days. Who cares? No one is judging you. You do you ! And momentum?? Momentum is what WE create. WE are the writers, WE choose things, WE get to decide things, WE call the shots, and momentum can be easily re-created on any day. You don't stop being a writer because you haven't written in a week. Or a month. Or a year. I hope you have playlists you're using while writing because it really helps some writers getting into a good mood while writing! ❤ Be gentle with yourself ALWAYS when it comes to writing. The more relaxed you are, the more writing flows easily, I can't emphasize this enough. You're already a brilliant writer. Tell this to yourself 1000 times a day. Because you are. 🥺 Your book will be a masterpiece. 💕💖 Have a good day!

Congratulations on getting so far on your draft! I know how it feels to lose momentum, but also you did so much. Don’t feel pressure to share if you don’t want to! I so admire you for writing long drafts and solid first drafts. It’s not something I can do. I also wrote a lot in March, but my first draft ended up being 45K. Way too short for an adult fantasy novel. But this vlog is still so encouraging!

Not writing endings in a bad space is such a good rule - put off finishing a manuscript because I was stressed and itinerant for a few months. Totally the right decision because when you're good again, then the juice will flow well.

Hope you are doing ok ....you are strong ..you are resilient.... try to redirect yourself ... so awesome that you wrote everyday in March and that you wrote all of those words...I am going to put little stickers around my house ..."Did you write something today ?" just. to remind me to write ...I am still..I have the first part and the last part of my story finished...It is for children and emotions so I have to be very careful on how I write and portray my Krayon Kid characters...Huge responsibility maybe that is what has been holding me up with my story . I think I just need to get it out on paper and then like you mentioned go back and edit ...instead of being hard on myself to have it perfect the first time ...I never felt that way with any of my other books they came easy to me ...but this one comes with a lot of responsibility ( it actually is how to be resilient ...but my characters are ones who portray that ...I. don't really give advice ..but I need to just let the characters..do their thing..hahah.. thanks for your transparency and heartfelt vlogs...you are the best.

@@ThatBoomerDude56 I would like to read your book on cults : I ask myself why certain people wish to be enslaved to a cult leader. Whenever someone tells me that they are 'spiritual' I know I am going to hear some nonsense about Tarot Cards or the Chakra. Cult leaders take this step into unreason many stages further. Think of L Ron Hubbard, the rich sociopath who founded Scientology. How could anyone be taken in by so bogus a figure as Hubbard or by Claude Vorilhon of the Raelian cult, based in New Zealand ? Alan Spence dedicated his novel Night Boat to Sri Chinmoy Ghose, a deluded narcissist who claimed to possess 'God consciousness'. Chinmoy was feted in Rome by Pope Paul VI & Pope John Paul yet he was as bogus as Hubbard and enslaved his gullible disciples. Andrew Harvey a Fellow of All Souls gave his heart to Mother Meera, another of those gurus in the money-making salvation business. Harvey became disenchanted and wrote a book about it, The Sun At Midnight. Meera surrounds herself with rich backers in Austria. The Master (2012) is a film by Paul Thomas about a Hubbard-like cultist (Philip Seymour Hoffman) who makes it up as he goes along. *The Master Works Because It Doesn't Answer Anything.* Douglas Laman. Collider. 2022. An essay worth reading. *Testimony of false guru Sri Chinmoy's Ex-Disciple* Artur Smith. We see how manipulative all gurus and cult leaders really are. *The Prophet and the Space Aliens/ The Short List.* KZread. Claude Vorilhon lives in the lap of luxury in his New Zealand mansion.
