Hello! Lots of people asked about the tool I use to apply pressure to the MISTI. This is what I used today: • The Debby Tool (for pressure on MISTI) --- ldli.co/e/j9jqdo Hope this helps! :)
I used varying thicknesses of fun foam mounted in my misti with temporary tape to stamp stripes of color across my white embossed image. Your artistry and technical skill are so inspiring. Thank you.
What would we do without you? Thanks as always for all the effort you put into sharing your creativity!
I realize it's frowned upon when we "stalk" someone, but I admittedly stalk your channel looking for new techniques to try out! You are truly gifted. 😍 Cheers to you for taking a break! 💖
Always surprising us Jennifer Macguire. You are the coolest. This is why my nickname for you is J-Mac!

Always amazed and in awe with the techniques you come up with. Even when it's repeated you come up with a twist❤️ Thank you for sharing.
I love this technique and can't wait for the next installment.
Jennifer, I look for you everyday and whenever you show up it's a real treat. I really like this 2 for 1 technique because I am slow at cardmaking and this will help to be more efficient. And the results are beautiful as usual. ❤
Such a creative delight watching your card creations. Every once in a while I improvise one and voila I have done it!!! Made a cool card like yours!
Happy to see you back. I love these techniques also. Thanks for sharing you time and knowledge.
Thank you Jennifer. We appreciate all your videos.
Glad you took some time for you and your family. Always great to have you back. I’m good watching re-runs anyhow. Just used your link and got the plaid stamp. Glad I saw you demo this as I saw the stamp and wasn’t sure about it until now.

I love building layers with cardstock, I never thought of putting it behind narrow sentiment strips! 🙌
You are ALWAYS amazing! Love the alcohol coloring the silver paper to match the card. VERY useful technique. Love all your creativity, cards, and clear instructions. Thank you.
Love this technique ❤ TFS!

These are fabulous Jennifer. Thanks so much. 😊
How wonderful. Such a clever technique. Thank you.
Great, colorful and graphic cards! This is something I would like to try….I do have that white ink and embossing powder, too, so to my storage to look for a stripe stamp. These cards would be really cool to try, since the possibilities are endless! Thanks for a neat new idea to try, Jennifer! 💌
Great cards. I love watching the process. Thank you.
Wow, what great ideas and techniques! I loved the 2 different looks from the same designs!
Such beautiful cards! Love the technique…

I absolutely love this technique. How clever! You are amazing. I don’t know how you think of all these marvelous ideas.
Beautiful cards as always!!
Wonderful technique, love those green inks together !!
I love Gina K's white pigment ink. Very nice cards :) Loved the darkest greens on white embossing, BEAUTIFUL.
I’ve been watching you for years and always learn something new. I didn’t know white ink resisted other inks! How did I not know that? I love Hero Arts white ink. I use it a lot to color with pencils on colored or kraft cardstock, which I just realized is a type of resist🤦🏻♀️. I use it for offset stamping. Will definitely try this! Beautiful cards as always!
These are unique ideas. I don’t think I’ve seen a video using this technique. I’m certainly going to try this with my Christmas cards. Thanks so much
So cool! Can’t wait to try this technique!❤️
Love the pink and purple! Fun idea as always. Thanks

Wonderful.

You are so welcome!
Welcome back. It seemed like forever. I always miss when you take some time off but it is understandable, everyone needs a break. I really like this technique and will have to try it. Thanks for sharing and I hope your time off was relaxing.
Welcome back. You always have such amazing ideas. I'm of too stamp now.
Hello jolies cartes et merci pour les tutos et astuces
I think I might experiment with some other light colors of pigment ink as the base pattern. I have a lot of pigment inks, so I can easily try some pale shades to see if it works.
Thanks Jennifer
Super as always but that wee tip about alcohol ink on silver foil is one I'll be using. Thank you.
What an awesome technique. I'll try to get this to work. I don't have such solid stamps but maybe, strips of fun foam can do the trick too. (hope so) I love the color combo's you used and your cards turned out so pretty!!
So beautiful
NICE!
Ooooh, this technique could be used for mass producing. TFS your talent with us! ❤️
Thank you for sharing some more tricks for card making! I also find your Instagram post.
This technique is pretty cool. And always like a 2 for 1 technique.
Gorgeous
Christmas is on the bran already and I can see using small tree, star, and holly stamps in the white ink and then green and red stripes. Or sall snowflakes with blue and purple. Thanks for the great idea!
Gorgeous Jennifer, thank you
Jennifer I am an avid watcher of all your programs. You are truly the best. Please can you let me know what make and model number you use for your trimmer , I have bought three trimmers and two guillotines none of which cuts straight! The postage to South Africa is astronomical. I have a friend coming from U K for Christmas and he is prepared to bring a parcel for me.
Always love your cards. Where did you get the tool you use with your Misty to apply some even pressure?

It's the "Debby Tool". 😊 ldli.co/e/j9jqdo
Stamp kissing combined with ink resist. Cool. I really like the sophistication of the second generation stamping. It’s one of those techniques that would have me pondering how a maker created the look if I hadn’t watched this video.
Hi Jennifer. Very cool technique. Thanks for sharing. I have a question... The "thanks" die used in the first pair of cards (specifically, the 2nd generation card on the right)... There is no link for that thanks die. Rather there is a link to a different thanks for that I don't see used here. Can you please provide us with the correct link for that die? I really like it's boldness but simplicity. Thanks!

Oops. Never mind. I see that it's part of a set of two-word dies. Doi.

Glad you found it!
Beautiful, as always Jennifer. When you add extra postage to embellished cards, what's your rule of thumb? Is it an extra $.20, which would cover 1 ounce more? That seems to be right, yes? I've been adding two forever stamps but I want to stop wasting the postage and get a more proper amount. Just wondering if you can share what you would add. I do know the .25" thickness for 1 stamp rule. Thanks.

I usually ask the worker at the postoffice. Just to be sure. 😊 Some cards are different enough from others to cause issues.
Just curious: When you are using a shadow die for a sentiment die, is it your practice not to double or triple stack it? I understand that in this case it is stacked on top of another die (the flower etc) but just wondering if you ever stack them when you use a shadow. Or do you stack the shadow?

What is the tool you are using to press down the ink that you run across the top of the misti?

I have a question. If you don't have line stamps, could you mask off to make stripes, or will it remove the white pigment in as you remove the masking tape each time. These are really pretty.

Hmmm.... I haven't tried it with this technique. Give it a try and let us know if it works OK?
Jennifer, I see you're using a wood handled object to press onto the stamp platform - can you please tell me how/what it's made from?

Which purple tape are you using? Also, thank you for the tip in one of your recent videos on making a personalized foiled sentiment strip with the Minc…OMG…genius idea. Maybe you’ve mentioned it in another video but you should be singing it from the roof tops…so simple but such a great idea when you want to personalize or make your own sentiment strip. Thank you!!

@@jennifermcguireink Actually not the easy see...it looks like a wide purple painters tape that you used to mask. I have not found a wide one that doesn't rip my cards when peeling up.
