Jen, I appreciate you so much and I just wanted to thank you for covering drug store products too. It’s tough in this economy. I’m definitely not buying any luxury brands right now. As a matter of fact I stopped watching those influencers that only recommend and review luxury makeup!! I’m trying to just make sure I can buy food for my family and maybe get a few makeup supplies as needed. Thank you again for giving us honest reviews!!

I agree! I also stopped watching video reviews of high end products. I found myself getting depressed when I watched those, because there’s no way I can afford any of it right now, in this economy. I love Jens videos and realistic recommendations

I literally stand in the makeup aisles of stores, rewatching her videos so that I can remember what she said about which products before i buy😆 I probably look really sus to employees and loss prevention bc sometimes Im standing there, or pacing back and forth to different products, for an hour or more. 😬

I do the exact same thing. I can never remember the items she recommended and wanna make sure I get it right. I really trust her recommendations and the work she puts into it. She does a lot of research prior to posting her videos. She is so awesome.

Yea, Cover Girl has lost their damn minds with that price point on those little pallets. I was eyeballing the LA Colors palettes but haven't bought them yet.

I am personally sooo glad to see the Jelly Much shadows make a come back from Colourpop. They were great but did dry out so quickly. There was no reviving them either. I have heard the new ones will revive with water if needed. I'd love to see you do a look with that lime green Millionaire shade. BTW, I agree with many comments here- the colors you have on today are spot on and flawless on you.

I really like this format, comparing like to like rather than going through the sequence of makeup application. Very helpful.

I recently tried Essence's Double Trouble mascara, and I have to say, it's great. Two different lengths of combs on the wand, the formula isn't too wet, and it made my lashes both long & thicker looking. For a $6 mascara, it does an amazing job.

Jen, just popping in to say that you look amazing today. Orange and autumn colors look fantastic on you. Also, your hair is perfect today. I don’t know how you do it. I am going to grab that ELF green color corrector in both blue and green colors. I run pink around the nose and VERY pink around eyes and many foundations run too warm, so I will use it to cool off some of my foundation shade fails. Thanks for the good run down of products so far. SO MANY! I appreciate it.

Ardell has came out with a brow glue, and it is so strong! It comes with a tool just like your two faced one. It won't let your brows move! I found it at Walmart! Cheaper alternative. ♥ ♥ ♥

Awesome video Jen, loved it! Could you maybe make a 'Still sparks joy' video like three months in? And maybe show what made it into the rotation? That's the true test of a product, I feel. You're the one I'd trust most with this kind of video, you're always so honest!

35:08 My Got2B hack for travel/convenience: save an old larger brow gel tube or buy an empty mascara tube off AliExpress/Amazon & squirt some gel inside. Once you pop the stopper off of the tube w/ a metal m/u spatula or tweezers it's much easier to get product inside! I repurposed an old NYX Control Freak tube. Also the travel size Got2B bottle is a bit more convenient size-wise in a makeup bag than the huge full size if you don't wan't to transfer to a brow gel tube.

Jen, you are quickly becoming one of my favorite KZreadrs for your honestly and affordable recommendations ❤ plus you have such a positive and supportive community of subscribers that makes this a great place to be! Would love to see you try some indie single shadows this year - Devinah Cosmetics has some multichromes that aren’t too chunky / flaky. They even have some “velvet” satin multichromes!

This is a great roundup. On my list is the Wet and Wild Rose Comfort lip balms, the Milani tubing mascara, the Doll 10 eyeshadow (I love that it’s talc-free and less expensive than Sydney Grace considering it has more shades and your discount!), and maybe the Mally foundation. I’ve enjoyed the Defender from her line that you recommended! I’ve tried a few things from Mally and liked most of them:) thanks for all your hard work!!

Illuminánce does sound a little more prestige 😄 maybe it’s just that good! The True Match quickly became my HG foundation. The undertones are PERFECT for me in the N shades too, and that’s so hard to find at the drugstore (I usually have to add green pigment to get it right)

Jen, thank you so much for all of the great ideas! What a treat to find someone online with so much knowledge, who also has similar hair and skin coloring to mine, and is close to my age...yay! I have been considering updating my makeup collection a bit lately since I am starting to look for employment again. I graduate with my master's in May, so I have been spending a lot of time studying at home online the past two years. Not leaving the house as much means I was able to save some money on makeup, but now it's time to change that. A couple of updates will be a good boost of confidence as well while I am searching for the right job! Thanks again...I'm so glad I found your channel recently. 💖

Omg I am obsessed with this Doll 10 palette!!! It's one of those that we can actually SEE how good the formula is just from the be swatched and then how smooth they look in the pans

I adore my jelly much shadows. They have glittery shades, smooth shades, duochromes, and once they did shades with glitter. You can revive them with water, if they dry out, and that's how I've kept my oldest ones going. I'm close to using up a couple of shades, and have my eye on a couple of the new ones too (both as replacement to the ones close to gone and as newness formy collection). They're my favorite single shadows ever!

It is a bit different in that it's mostly warm neutrals while the old one was cooler tones. I didn't find any exact shade matches but it's somewhat similar.

Hi Jen!! I bought the Milani mascara and while it didn't work for my upper lashes (too heavy/wet) it's been great for my bottom lashes! I wipe off the brush before applying and it doesn't smudge or flake, it just gives me long, black lashes. Love it!!! Thank you so much for all that you do ❤️
