Very athletic... but huge disadvantage if she didn't have a bungee in both events she won. She was below average in any event without bungee aiding her... that's just the truth.

She was literally being pulled up by her rope at the end.

GUTS analysts have been debating for years if this was an all time heroic performance by Ginger or an all time choke job by Derek. Purple lane and Ginger had to get sent back to hit an actuator and Derek still couldn't get it done. Certainly one of the moments that is replayed in GUTS highlight reels forever.

An unreal bounce back…and remember she went HIGH on the jungle. Absolute electric performance for her to turn up like that

Little Dynamite might be the most apt nickname Guts has given someone. I would put Ginger up against nearly all first rounders so far. What a beast. The fact that she came back to win the crag after missing an actuator was insane. Granted the other two guys weren't exactly star athletes, but there have been way worse contestants. Winners win.

Lil D was an absolute savage in this episode. Just couldnt be denied

I just looked up Ginger Sellick, and apparently there was a girl named Ginger Sellick who was a striker for Boise State in 1999 and is in BS’s top 10 all time in several different goals scored in a season categories. I’d bet dimes to donuts it’s the same girl.

She then was first team all SEC at Auburn in 2000, when she scored 12 goals that season (still tied for third all time in school history for goals in one year and most shots in a season in school history). Girl had game, but she happened to run into a buzzsaw named Abby Wambach who was at Florida at the time lol

25:30 Jake has had the answer since at least this far back. He, in this moment, concisely and simply stated exact why the scores are that way. It's months later and we're still not figuring out how to score. The show did it for you.

That was an insane finish. No way she should have got there with the other 2 just needing 1 step to get to the top.

The collective freak out after the scoreboard on the first event was incredible. 😂

I immediately knew Joez needed to make that trade just because he always has to pick last. He needed some draft capital for the future. Then to see the result that he could have moved up in the draft AND had a 1st place finish. Ouch. Should have taken the trade Joez.

Watch any other game where a kid misses an actuator and when they find out at the top, they slink back down already defeated. Ginger OTOH was a $*!@ing baller who just saw it as one more point to get, and that's why she won, because she never quit playing. It reminded me of that time the Mets thought they had Josh Harrison in a rundown and anyone else would've given himself up but he just kept going back and forth until THEY did.

Its been said, but this is the absolute best content on the channel, maybe across all channels. Lil Dynamite fan 4 life

Funniest thing about them watching this show is that all the kids are now older than anyone except CRose at Jomboy.

Watching these reactions feels like so much vindication from when I was a kid. I'd be screaming at the TV about how the contestants didn't deserve to even be in there and how I could do so much better. I think what I am noticing the most now is how over-reliant the show is on the bungee cords. It could have been so much better, but they had to fit that whole "extreme" theme of the 90's.

That comeback though... That's definitely an all time highlight for Guts.

The difference in point for 1st to 4rd on the Crag is 350. So as long as you are within 300 point you can still win if the leader gets 3rd.

Whereever Lil Dynamite is in life now, we know she was successful. The tenacity and grit on that win was impressive as hell.

Watched this episode at least 10 times. Best episode ever. Between the contestants and Jim/Joz/Jake all time great fun.

I remember the Z-Force, it was a roller coaster at six flags over Georgia. A kid died after riding it once and they ended up shutting it down.

Lil’ Dynamite as the new manager for Team Baggage. She never backs down, never surrenders.

I looked Ginger up, her name is all over the Boise State women's soccer record book. She later played for Auburn, as well.

This was hilarious. I got into these channels pretty deep recently and I laughed at this episode more than any others. Everyone looks like they are genuinely having fun watching and commenting on this.

I call BS on the crag. Look at 27:32. Ginger's safety line is TAUT - she is literally being pulled up the side of the crag, and it's no wonder at all that she was able to recover so quickly. The boys on either end have loose lines, because they are supposed to lose.
