Warmane has been around for YEARS. I remember when it was called "Molten-WoW" and got rebranded as Warmane. Expect high gs requirements tho haha. Not hard to gear tho

I recently started on Warmane after taking a few month break from wow. It’s been so fun. Lots of cool people leveling up right now, no real drama so far. I love the 7x xp rate in this stage of my wow-life. Hope I can find a chill guild for end game stuff that isn’t just P2W.

The most time you will wait is 5-10minutes at peak times, and you can get geared easily without donations you just mad you’re broke.

@@learnwithme5266 keep an eye on Whitemane's Frostmourne then - it will be starting fresh so everyone starts from 0...other WotLK servers are usually at the end of their progression so not too many new players would be joining them

Warmane is the shyt version of molten wow. Molten wow was like god gracing us with his pressence it will always firmly immortalizes itself in the hearts as those who played it definitely the best wow server to ever exist and that ever will exist it was so good fate had to take it from us and give us 99 cent store molten replacement aka warmane

I wish someone did a list of the custom private servers and features they have others have not. I am having a blast playing ascension, but the level scaling and quick gearing makes it difficult to fully appreciate the subtleties of every region. Yet I do not see myself playing a fully vanilla experience, I still need something to allow soloing most content. Like you put Warmane in top tier, but I have no idea why and their website has no information on what makes it special.

Its not special. A private server doesn't have to be special with any gimmicks. Some server are more "blizzlike" or "vanilla", meanwhile TWoW is vanilla+, ascension is so modified its a version of wow on its own. Warmane is just a stable good WoTLK classic server.

I didn't try much in terms of private servers, but I'm satisfied with Turtle WoW. Been healthy with population and content for years. Compared to playing FFXIV, sure Turtle WoW crashes a lot, but Turtle WoW runs on a potato PC and is free.

nope, they are fairly small with no PvP other than random BGs for the most part, it's hard to do much without bigger community

Felsong is dead, only good if you like to play on a small server, uWoW would probably be better but it's still not great, there's no real good Legion servers to choose from right now

evermoon (800pop) on tauriwow its a pve server or you could play on mistblade 2 (2k-3kpop) but servers from tauri will turn into legion server with first a pre patch you can actually level up there and your char will be saved for legion

I wish I could play legion server with decent population

haven't actively played on it in a very long time so can't rate it, but the population now on the newly released Dragonflight by Firestorm is very impressive

For me if you want best expansion it is warmane no1, warmane all day. Just create a char for fun on lordaeron there is like 5 more people that created char at same time. Icecrown is fulled with people from Balkan(me) so you will love it or hate it :D Frostmourne is dead. Blackrock is amazing for pvp fun at battlegrounds, you get full relentles and ready to go. But arena at warmane is hard even for old WoW player. I wait to have more time to try mistblade and MoP.

why i hate Warmane so much is because in Arena or BG they cross the realms. With another words, a player from Lordaeron will fight againts a player from blackrock or frost and that s not fair.

Warmane was the amazing till about a couple weeks ago the server went down, came back up. I averaged 100 latency on all servers... now blackrock is averaging 300-500 for me in bgs and arena. Averaging 178 on lorderan though so its not game breaking to level but still. I miss my pvp realm :(

Personally I would put warmane in A tier because there are lots of bugs that aren't getting fixed, plus there's no custom content and I play private for custom content

You do have mythic dungeons, world quests, timewalking and more on the Frostmourne realm, that one is more custom and each year they add something

@@MEYTRIX that's true, I haven't played there in a while but I guess what I'm looking for in a private server is more class rework or custom classes all together. Adding mythic dungeons, to me, doesn't really feel "custom" because it's not really anything new. It still feels like the same wrath but with harder content. Again this just my personal opinion

ppl have been recommending turtle wow, it has numerous vanilla+ features and a hardcore mode, although be warned: it is characteristic for it's "turtle"-like gameplay -- x1 exp rate and 5 second gathering times can make it a bit of a slog

Turtle wow bro, you'll love the new zones, new items, new gear pieces, a ton of new quests. Even at low lvl there's a couple low lvl trinkets and chain quests you can do before you even hit 20. It makes for a good journey through leveling
