may i first say how absolutely refreshing it is to see someone reacting to this that actually feels it! so many don't know any of the songs, or aren't familiar enough with whitney's voice to appreciate what katrina did in this performance. there's a good reason people suggest this particular performance, even with its flaws...katrina was just extra special that night. ♥️ "never enough" & "somewhere over the rainbow" (of not your standard variety) are absolute musts. "never enough" is on her official channel, a fairly popular video, & any version of SOTR is good because she's just that good, although the "one take" stylized set up with very short dark hair is particularly good due to the superb quality audio. all that being said, i'm actually here to recommend a cover katrina did with another (newer, up & coming) singer, kristina madrigal, of the iconic "when you believe". there's some lovely smile singing there & two vocal goddesses...here's a link in case you're interested; it was posted to kristina's channel, so hasn't had as much attention: kzread.info/dash/bejne/h5922qaQdMe7Zag.html edit: new sub based on this video alone. ♥️

She done a good job. She had trouble on All The Man I Need, but anyone would….besides The Voice of course.

This is one of the best Katrina videos. Philippino artists like Katrina, Gigi and Morisette always excel upon live performances. But Katrina does Whitney like no one else (even though Mori‘s „Run to you“ and Jessie J‘s „I have nothing“ are also very good!)
