The Super Shock Shadow in the shade "Ladybird" is the most wet looking shade I've ever seen and I have a ton of Super Shocks.

Ok but like as an engineer, the physics lesson at the beginning was SO FUN. this introduced me to a niche of content I didn’t know I needed

Make up should be whatever you want it to be. If I like spending two hours on it and wearing 10 layers, then there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. Don't tell people what they should do with their face.

Makeup is art, some like to enhance their natural features, some like uv graphic liners with chunky glitters. That's perfectly fine. Some like me like both on different occasions

I have been not wearing any makeup for the past 3 months due to lockdown, and I feel so lazy everyday. But after watching your video I feel like taking some of my dazzling sparkling shadows out and whip out a full face of makeup just to feel pretty again☺

I love how halfway through the video all the swatches started looking the same! Goes to show you only need a couple of wet look shadows (a soft sparkle and an impactful sparkle) and you can achieve a wet look effect! Ps I have oily, creasy lids and appreciate when you mention wear time. I can't wear creams that don't set.

So true, I don't consider my eye area oily but I have never been able to wear cream anything unless it's cream to powder formula that sets fast.

Gucci has something called multi use gel gloss that you can tap on the lid for a wet look. My challenge, as someone of a certain age now, is not looking or feeling dry. I’d like dewy but not sparkley.

I like that Gucci gloss a lot, but not on my eyes. I am older too. I understand what you mean about the dryness. How do you get the Gucci gloss to work on your eyes? What kind of mascara do you use with it?

The great thing about space cowboy (which I got because of you!) that you can't do with Ritz (which I also have) is that you can put a wash of color all over your eyes and then add Space Cowboy. So if you want a wash of pink and a glossy appearance or a wash of orange with glossy, you can do that with SC as a topper! I also found Ritz harder to use because, as you said, has chunkier pieces. SC is definitely more refined and smooth.

If you like eyeshadow singles, JD Glow is an indie brand that often gets compared to Pat McGrath (though I personally can't compare). My JD Glow shadows make up the majority of my eyeshadows and they're easily my favorites in my collection, and a lot of them give that beautiful wet shiny look :)

I'm so sad that Urban Decay hardly produces Moondust anymore. It feels like they are phasing them out. I can only hope they will reinvent a new Moondust release. To me it's one of their best products. I really value my Moondust collection. Fortunately a little goes a long way.

@@julipana There are definitely Moondust palettes being sold second hand. There used to be so many colors..if you go to the Urban Decay site..seems like they are producing very few these days. They were out of stock at my Ulta.

I love your take on the characteristics of reflection! Your channel is always so informative. Another "wet look" shadow is Bobbi Brown's Luxe Eyeshadow in Moonstone. It's very bling-y but it results in a bright wet look, for sure. I think New Moon is next on my wish list!

If you don’t mind creasing (unless you use something to help stop it; which I do not) and you love cream shadows... I could literally only use my Roen quads (I have all of them except the newest one) and be good. I personally adore them.

The Revlon palette is one of my absolute favs when doing a quick look, and I found it through one of your videos. Thanks for the recommendation!

I really like the elf glitter eye shadows. Not to be mistaken with the metallic ones. They come separate in plastic rectangular tubes with applicator. Particularly disco, flirty birdy, some light pink one, and gold are my favorite

Amanda, I am 77 and haven't worn anything but blush lipstick and occasionally mascara. My 30 yo granddaughter took me to Ulta, which we don't have around here. I was done for and during quarantine all I did was order! I most always order things you love! Last week I ordered the Ash and soot(???). It is very dry and not able to blend on crepey eyelids. So disappointed! My question is: do you think I am too old for the wet look shadows. If I blend them out well,? I always trust you and your opinions! My fav! Love you sweet little lady! 💗

One thing to try is using your favorite shadows and then topping off your lid with an emollient eye cream or eye gloss. You don’t need to buy special shadows, and the extra moisture smooths out the crepey skin.

Oh, yes. I love your demos. It is difficult to put the finger on what it is that make your videos so watchable. It is probably a combination of many factors. The delivery, the content, the fact that you always wear your best colours and that you never show yourself looking other than your best. The close ups, the background. All of that and a lot of hard work makes you stand head and shoulders above other channels.

Some awesome tips I’ve discovered is that if you have a color in your palette that u love , you can make ur own cream eyeshadow using Tatcha silk canvas & scraping a bit of powder & mix on ur hand! Also have you ever tried Armani Eye Tint liquid eye shadow?? Fusion would look beautiful with your complexion , you will not be disappointed! TY for all great advice!

I know you mentioned Pat McGrath but the Divine Rose II palette has by far the wettest eyeshadow I’ve ever used called Eleganza that’s super similar to the Chanel New Moon single. ALSO this came out after this video but the Bridgerton collab Pat did has two of the wettest shadows I’ve ever used too
