Sure, dear prince, As Dr. Ellie advised, I bought xylitol chewing gum that is known for helping prevent the formation of plaque, and slow bacterial growth associated with cavities. Also, I brush my teeth twice a day with Xylitol toothpaste. I especially chew the gum with my frontal teeth and noticed how they became more firmly resting in my gums due to the resistance..Hope this will help you as I could not be more thrilled with the effect of this simple procedure. @prprprince6341 @@prprprince6341

I've added a simplified method (using the toothpaste, ACT mouthwash, and xylitol mints) to my 15 year old's routine and he says his teeth feel smoother and at his last dental visit the dentist commented that his teeth look really good. I'm very impressed with the results. Thank You! : )

Me too. Also wish my parents had known all this back then before having kids. My teeth have NEVER, EVER been healthy, I do not even have a single memory of myself with healthy teeth. When you are a child, you do not give a damn about teeth, you just play around. It is the parents who need to be aware of all these things and show the children how to take care of their teeth. And if something occurs, it is them who need to act on it as soon as possible before the damage is so big that the child will suffer the consequences all its life knowing it could have been prevented in time. I feel like I am patching up patches with another patches and my teeth will never look and feel healthy ever again.

Like yours our parents did the same did not saw it useful to take the children o the dentist u til we were already out school having tooth issues. My parents too never care for their teeth when they got older we had to take them to dentist for gum issues etc. All this could have been avoided but for my parents according to them they had no guidance themselves when it came to teeth for my grandparents. I've had teeth issues in my molars from multiple run-ins with a few bad dentists. Small chunks of food gets lodged in between when I eat (which creates a breeding ground for bacteria and causes all sorts of pain) and I have sharp edges that catch on to everything which I can feel running my tongue over it. After being desparate for a long time I tried Dr. Ellie's protocol for about a month and it changed all my issues. Plaque litterally fell off my teeth, teeth whitened significantly, Bad breath gone. I saw a difference in the first few days really. It's been about 4 months since and I have changed it a bit for my own reasons. I just felt a need to reduce the amount of flouride entering my body since I learned I have flourosis. I eat low carb which makes the most significant difference for tooth health because you are no longer feeding the bad bacteria, I brush with xylitol toothpaste, chew xylitol gum, and tongue scrape (Not sure if it's making any difference but I am trying it out). Couldn't thank Dr. Ellie enough. I am glad to support her cause to educate the people by buying zellie's mints for my kids.

Giving time to your saliva to interact with your teeth and gums (xylitol can be helpful to create a nice flow) 3. We can and should always strive for ' excellence ' in everything we do. Perfection is impossible to achieve NOTHING on earth is perfect Unfortunately the greater majority of people are taught very basic Elementary English - known as Common Street English - and they have a very limited vocabulary - and most do not know what the words actually mean - nor where the words came from. They merely repeat what they hear the uneducated masses say - instead of educating themself by reading books by accomplished authors that one can learn from. Knowledge often comes from unexpected sources - and any knowledge provided is a GIFT - acquiring knowledge is extremely expensive in both time and money. Good luck and best wishes for 2024

I'm 72 years old, originally from South Africa. I have been living in the UK for 19 years and my teeth are in a mess. The crowns they put in are bright white. And I must be thankful that I am an NHS patient. I have gum problems, but after the dentist "cleaned" my teeth and told me to use Corsodol toothpaste, my gums have never been this bad. For the first few years I had a South African dentist in the UK and he was very good, but he disappeared. In lockdown I lost two teeth, because the fillings they put in, in ten minutes fell out. Going private is very expensive, twice the price of South Africa. I have managed to find most of the products at Amazon and will save the few teeth I have. My gums are my biggest worry, but reading reviews I am willing to try and succeed. Thank you for being really interested in dentistry.

Bad news for you. Coconut oil creates a barrier that doesn't allow the saliva's remineralization. If it whitened your teeth a little is because, as she said at the beginning, they are weaker. Just clean them after each meal with toothpaste, use collutory and don't put anything "extra" in your teeth and let the saliva do it's job.

I used to brush my teeth 5 x a day and reduced to before breakfast, rinsing after breakfast, then before bed, but using Listerine mint mouthwash after meals. I have zero plaque and I used to have to use a dental scaler to remove it myself all the time, and, of course, every six months. My last visit I had zero plaque. This is definitely due to your tips about sipping water, letting saliva build up, and using the mouthwashes you advise except the Closys as it is not here. i take a half tsp of xylitol after a meal and let saliva build up and swish it in my mouth for a few minutes, then swallow. Thank you dr. Ellie. About a month ago i noticed terrible receding gums and I failed to understand why as I have good oral health care, don’t smoke, no Gingivitis… i just didn’t get it. I refused to accept that gums don’t grow back as the body will always try to restore itself one way or another. I was so grateful to be guided to your video. It all made sense… acidity. I religiously drank lemon water for decades in the morning before eating fruit, then added kefir water and kombucha ( strong kombucha) to my evening routine just before brushing my teeth. On top of that I had used whitening strips on and off over time… it was basics an accident waiting to happen. Once I saw your video I immediately stopped these acidic drinks. And started chewing xylitol gum immediate after I eat or drink. My teeth are returning smooth and thicker again and are returning to their natural whiteness. I had been using pretty good products oral B enamel densifying tooth paste en vitis sensitive mouthwash which also helps with regrowing enamel. I wasn’t seeing the results I wanted before as I was still drinking those horrible drinks, but now I’m amazed at the results after not even a month. The situation was so bad I still have a long way to go. I may try to get the other two products to see if they help speed up recovery, but so far I cannot thank you enough for putting out this info 💖💖

Yes, just buy Xylitol. In Germany, supermarkets sell it and drug stores. But beware, in some people it causes severe bloating. Maybe it is even better to spit it out after use instead of ingesting pills.

The main active ingredient in Listerine is Thymol. Nature’s Answer makes a nice mouthwash which includes Thyme flower/leaf oil among the ingredients as well as Methyl Salicylate. I prefer the Wintermint flavor which includes Wintergreen Leaf oil (and many other good ingredients) and they are all abundant in Xylitol. The PerioBrite line is excellent.

@@user-re3td7fu1d Correct! Dr. Ellie says to avoid glycerin as it keeps teeth from remineralizing! This is very serious. Hey Dr Ellie, i have been doing your protocol for 5 to 6 months now and im really happy with it, my gum rescission has stopped but im yet to see it grow back but im here for the long haul... one of my dentists i had when i was a kid explained to me that the enamel grows clear and when it grows perfectly you see the colour of the dentine shine through and thats why my teeth would never appear super white, he also explained that when the enamel grows imperfectly that the structure criss crossed and reflects more white light back and that is why some people appear to have whiter teeth, but then he said my teeth were stronger and if everyone had teeth like me he would go out of business... ive only ever needed one filling and im now 52. i am though struggling in the UK to find a good affordable source of xylitol gummies or sweets they all seem way over priced. but i have found that xylitol powder by the KG is an affordable option just not sure how i should use it...any ideas?

Zellies mints should be available soon on Amazon UK. You can use granular xylitol. One teaspoon per day (to total about 6 grams) but take this in small divided doses x5 or x6 daily at the conclusion of meals. Try not to eat or drink for an hour afterward.

Dr Ellie kindly guided me in using xylitol crystals a few weeks back, and it’s super easy. I can’t tolerate the mints and other forms but the crystals are great. Very similar to sugar crystals. I broke my bags down into containers with lids and a spoon inside. You just melt it in your mouth, and swish around so it coats your entire mouth. I then spit out the excess in the sink. I’m a mouth breather so I also do a dose before bed to protect my mouth. Be careful if you have dogs because it is lethal to them even in small amounts.

I remember (maybe 20 years ago or so) that MANY chewing gums were sweetened with Xylitol. You would see them all at the checkout counter with big letters saying XYLITOL. Then they just stopped! Now one is hard-pressed to find ANY candy or gum using xylitol. Now, I believe I know why.

I mix virgin coconut oil with baking soda, along with my standard sensitive toothpaste. Works very well. (Baking soda is not an abrasive as many incorrectly believe. I will add in the ingredients mentioned here to see if it helps. Pro tip: Be sure to brush the backside of your teeth thoroughly because the backside does reflect through the frontside, adding to the dull yellow tint when light passes through.

I have erosive oral lichen planus. I started this protocol three weeks ago as willing to give anything a try after almost 30 years with OLP. The worst was the Listerine mouthwash which stung dreadfully BUT over the three weeks I can now manage about 20/30 seconds and the sting isn't so bad. My mouth is okay and haven't had to use my twice daily steroid mouthwashes at all since starting this. I have everything crossed :)
