I just wish we had a way to “copy/paste” other decks and to choose between certain premade decks for a single leader. The lack of it hurts customization and the game’s own monetization upon customization as well. Clash Royale does that pretty well, and Blizz can learn a bunch from it.

I think best leaders for wildcard slot are those who are strong, and has bad 3rd slot. So, #1 is Charlga - most good fast minis are beast, so she doesn’t need fast slot. #2 Rend to get access to Poly for PvP #3 Sneed because all siege minis sucks in this game. Rest leaders don’t even need this wildcard slots, since they already has access to good options.

For the wildcards - Rag has, IMO, the worst too right slot with armored, but he also kinda sucks lol. The thing is, most of the time, the top right slot compliments the leaders power. Rend has flying and he buffs flying. Sylvanas has horde and gives horde movement speed. I picked emperor since he had melee but there are some ranged/flying he can benefit. Banshee…imo her level isn’t that important as long as you don’t play her when she will charge into fire, her level isn’t as important is it? I play her in off slots all the time.

For Wildcard, I might also suggest looking at which decks do you feel like you're taking a mini you otherwise wouldn't, in order to fill that top right slot. In particular, Sneed, I usually don't actually need that siege slot, Sneed does fine by himself. Charlga also I don't always use that "fast" slot, and for emperor I might not use that melee if I didn't have to (though stonetooth tauren is quite good so maybe he'd make the cut anyways). Then again, I don't like that squad slot for Gromm, so that's another argument for him as well.

It only shows up for armies that have had an army slot change since the last major patch: upgrade, wildcard, or reroll. There is a fix coming. As a workaround, you can reroll an army slot to make the upgrade option visible for a Leader.

Most probably Rend buff for PvP will be the choice and/or Hogger to have a tank slot. But most importantly will be to see if everyone can unlock the wild card and valor for upgrading cards. Knowing how Blizzard loves to buff the bosses in World of Warcraft when first released, I suspect the raid will also be over buffed and only whales will be able to do it by out leveling the raid. We will see.

So now I'm supposed to grind in order to fix their bad game design? This might be the drop that spilled my glass of water. What a ridiculous reward
