Actually my first thought when I saw the toxin tattoo is to put it on Teemo

I feel like Tattoo of Fury works really well with Morgana, because of her AoE ability that just gains a 35% damage boost, to any enemies who stand on it while below 50% HP.

I think if Tattoo of Vitality got a small buff it'd have the potential to be very strong on Volibear and Udyr. Both like auto-attacking a lot, and Volibear in particular can become a powerful heal-tank with Duelist, and HP and/or Titan's

Another reason it being weaker than Zaun is iirc the zaun augments didn’t take up a slot so you can have full items WITH the Zaun items affect still intact

@@jajajinks1569 my guess is that they were afraid of it becoming zaun emblem = easy top 4 because of how strong the over charged version of zaun augments were, but you’re right most of the ink shadow items are like okay, which is better than stupid broken but it does make 5-7 ink shadow way less interesting

that last minute pbe nerfs to the items was brutal, justice for Inkshadow, unique item traits are always my favorite they deserve to be better

Yeah when mortdog has to specifically warn players against a vertical.... That's when you know it's dire

They could go the Admin route and also simply buff the items themselves the more you go in the vertical. Like at 5 Inkshadow the stats on the items go from +20/+20 to +30/+30 or whatever as an example.

@@amiablereaper the benefit should be the items themselves so buffing the "boring" damage and damage reduction on the trait doesn't do anything and would honestly just exacerbate the units using alternative items anyway (IE on Kaisa would be even "better" than say Bombardment if she got 15% damage increase on 5 Inkshadow than the current 10%).

I did not know you could see the inkshadow items off team builder. Super helpful video!

my favorite comp so far is going 6 ghostly with senna, she can destroy early game and can guarantee you at least a top 4 or even a 2nd depending on how well your early game is

yasuo with the tattoo of vitality is really good, you get a decent amount of Hp from 3 starring him and he has a lot of attack speed from duelist to benefit from the tattoo's effect.

Tattoo of Protection on TK plus that one Artifact Unending Despair lets you play him as a Carry Tank. You can either run Inkshadow Bruisers or Inkshadow Mythic. I dont know if it works well with Dryad emblem Tk but if you're running full dryad comp and luck out with Tattoo of Protection, you can put it on either TK or Ornn. It looks like those Tattoos were made for either Dryad or Mythic units.

Does the Tatoo of Force only trigger if the unit dashes to the enemy? Cuz it says switches targets, but if the enemy is standing right in front, it looks like it doesn't trigger in my experience.

Not my original idea but I saw a comp using 6 duelist Tristana and Volibear as carries... and putting Tattoo of Force on Tristana ! Because of her jumps, she changes targets frequently, and stuns her new target. Thoughts on this ?

Gonna try this, but I'm not sure. Tristana doesn't really jump this much, like about 3-4 times per fight. Still good since it's 3-4 stuns in nice intervals, but Volibear just seems better with it thanks to more tankiness

Haven’t watch the video yet but earlier today I found out that Kayn aoe critical auto attacks make tattoo of vitality prod on each target not just per auto. I wanna try a strategy for fun with a Kayn carry with tattoo of vitaility.

I think tattoo of Vitality is pretty great on Volibear, he's an AP tank and gets high atk speed thanks to duelist.

My first few games I thought the Tattoo of Vitality worked off of your units getting attacked rather than attacking. I was hella cofused when my tanks got rolled.

I use tattoo of force to voli with BT and JG and now you have a mini Udyr

The tatoo of Vit is actually good for duelist Voli, match with titan resolve and Guinsoo

I don't like the percentage mitigation/damage buffs provided in this set because for me it just removes the effectivness of traits that give you armor/magic resistance. What would be cool for inkshadow units is that all of them would gain stats from the inkshadow item but only the wearer would gain the effect making all units stronger with for going the comp without superficial dmg increase/reduction

Would Tattoo of Fury work well on Rek'Sai?

I feel Inkshadow 7 is borderline the worst idea taking up 2 slots for what is for the most part "okay" buffs, the only 2 that stand out in my games is force becuase it is rediculous if you can get an early voli bear with it as the first trait breakpoint, and then fury being an amazing item to use on a lot of people, if you get an early comp of jax aatrox senna you can play a kog maw with fury to nuke the lowest health unit and get good attack speed and then slap on an illaoi for ghostly and warden which is one of the strongest level 5 boards

after watching this, i just hit a tattoo of vitality irelia comp with a warden, inkshadow, storyweaver wandering trainer. literally had a perfect 11 trait web + exalted. it was an insane game

Vitality should be a sunfire-like aura probably ( and 5/7 Inkshadow needs a buff on the inkshadow unit buff too )

IMO, although unique, the tattoo are not strong enough to justify substitute good items on carry / tanks. Bombardmeny/Toxin only good as 2nd priority items on certain carry. On tanks, you can just slam whatever protection tattoo and be done, but most likely doesn't justify enough to run 3/5 inkshadow instead of the usual comps. My solution would be to buff the numbers a bit, or to make them scale to late game as pointed by one of the comment here. Another idea is to tweak bombardment to benefit AD carry more, toxin wounds more, or add 7th tattoo for AP carry (could be mana + AP boost, but unlikely since all inkshadow backline are AD)

I dont really like/ think bombardment is bad/ worst one. Sure its playable on guinsoos users but with math isnt it just flat up equal or slightly worse than a runnans? Conpared to force being unique, protection being big hp stats and effectively +150% hp in form of shield, and fury combining stronger giant slayer with nashors level of attack speed for vitality and toxin im not sure but vitality is at least somewhat interesting but may need a number buff as well and toxin is still at least a large damage mult with also added bonus item slot saved not needing to build heal reduction

Bombardment prioritizes low health units. Never underestimate the ability to finish off someone on low health.

04:41 the protection stats are heavily saturated by vertical ghostly, it’s easily the best inkshadow item for the comp by far

I gave teemo his ideal illegal puffcaps. He overdosed enemy with 12k damage at 1 star. I am insane.

Tattoo force with sylas is so broken. Every dash make the unit so tanky. You slam a jewel+titan+force, that thing doesn't die since every dash buffs it.
