I was thinking of that combo too , one of the reasons I’m leaning more towards the skull & co grip as opposed to the satisfye, another being the ability to dock the switch with the grip still on

On Skull & Co’s losable small piece, i actually did lose that locking piece for the top of the grip thanks to a certain 2 year old gamer of mine. I emailed them and while they dont offer that specific replacement, they said if i reordered the whole grip and provided them the order number, they would refund the cost of the order minus shipping. Not a perfect solution but pretty cool of them.

My favorite switch accessory was this rubbery case that had a detachable flap that would cover the screen. It also has some slight grips to it too which was nice. It served as a grip and a super lightweight case that adds no severe bulk to the device.

I never used any alternatives on my OG Switch, but noticed more weight on the OLED that led to more discomfort. I invested in the Grip Case From Skull & Co and i love it. I alternate from the small ones on the go and switch to the trigger grips when at home. Big improvement for long gaming sessions.

Had ordered the new one but I live in Ireland so due to issues shipping out of HK it would be months by the time I got it so I cancelled the order. I'm really enjoying my binbok controllers they're essentially hori split pad pro controllers that didn't forget to forgo some features. And for the most part those features aren't needed except for gyro I am completely baffled and amazed that the split pad pro does not have at least gyro some games really lean on that for the switch and not having it sucks balls.

EVERYBODY LISTEN UP. The best grip for the oled switch is the OVIO grip on Amazon. Holds 5 switch cartridges and has an awesome stand that’s durable and can help playing in handheld mode. I have Satysfe and Hori Split pad pro. I think owning both are beneficial, because Satisfye is a great daily driver, but split pad is great for FPS. Only downside with split pad is remapping the back button being limited to a button on each control pad. (Left control pad can’t use X, Y, A or B that you would typically use, since those buttons are in the right control pad). So I remap my right side to Jump and leave it at that.

As someone who has tried pretty much every option out there, my top 3 choices are: #1 Fixture S1 mount for the Switch pro controller. Unfortunately the S2 hasn't come out for the Oled yet, but it's fantastic for the older switch versions. #2 The Hori split pad pro and finally #3 the Satisfy grip Right now I go between the Hori S.P.P. and Satisfy grip pending on which game I'm playing. When Fixture finally releases the S2 for the Switch Oled, that's definitely going to be my main way of playing because there's nothing like playing on your Nintendo pro controller anywhere

@zurd mannakella Not really. You can position it to where the weight is counterbalanced and where it is most comfortable for you. Just got the S2 myself. Watch some KZread videos and give it a shot if you're interested. You can always get a refund if you don't like it. I'd recommend getting it from Amazon. Happy gaming!

Ironically, I've used both joy in replacement's and the hori is way less comfortable and gives me hand cramps because of its flat back while the binbok has actual grips that are there to hold on to and feel like a real controller.

Please, make a video about the IINE joycons, they're close to the binbok ones, but it not the same, is hard to find full reviews about them, specially when there is two diffent types, the normal ones and the Elite ones, so, if you could.

@@GroteGlon 100 percent. switch is already 5 years old but performs like an 8 year old midrange cellphone, and nintendo themselves don't know how to make the games run faster without breaking everything, it's a joke. remember how it took them 3 years to add bluetooth audio? lmao even though the switch had bluetooth to begin with

@@escapetherace1943 I think switch most games nintendo made themselves run and look pretty good for such a small handheld device. I also understand performance isn't the greatest because you need a mix of performance and battery life in something that isn't too large or heavy. I don't know why they didn't give us bluetooth any sooner. Overall I think it's a nice console I just wish it had a bit more power for 3e party or heavy games that don't run aswell. It would probably be possible with the generational improvements of CPU's but that would also drive up costs making it less or unaffordable for a ton of people. I think they chose a good middle road.

@@GroteGlon performance and battery life are important, but the tech exists for better performance AND battery life but nintendo chose not to do so on purpose. They want as much profit as possible, where other companies will either break even or even LOSE money on console sales. Nintendo wants it both ways, they charge 40 dollars for 20 year old games on their e-shop, they charge release-prices and never put games on sale and they get mad when people try to emulate games more than 15 years old, yet offer no way to buy those games because they never released them to another console, never gave backwards compatibility. Do you know how much more money they'd make if they offered a switch that could actually do 60 fps and put games on sale and started to throw gamecube and wii games at discounted prices on their eshop? They're sitting on a money printer but refuse to do it that way because they'd rather keep scamming consumers and limiting supply (of games) for zero reason, even though they're already the richest company in Japan, apparently sad days man
