If you boil the potatoes for a few minutes and let them dry before adding anything, they'll have a fluffier texture

I think for roasting potatoes it's always so much nicer to boil them a few minutes first. You always get a more fluffy inside and a more crusty exterior

Add baking soda as well. Breaks down the edges of the potatoes.

Actually no you just have to add tinfoil over them for the first 15 minutes then take it off and your good

Yep, mine were and potatoes weren't even cooked yet. I figured that would happen but I had to try. Yes, I think they need to be boiled first.
