@@theresaoferised Do the math for us when your yield is almost doubled harvesting with a gardener buddy! Price of pumpkin seeds is reduced by almost half now! And like you said, the TIME it takes to make a meal is a factor…. Now there’s an update I’d like to see: make multiple meals at once! I make 25 at a time pastry cream and fruits for its 2332 heal points. Time consuming!

My exact thought as soon as I watched the video, this is the best way to maximise profit by a mile, for 100 harvested I usually gain around 60-75 free but the trick is continuously do them in a line and hold x, seems the longer you do this the more the companion yields

Right now, I'm focussing on finishing my quests! Then, I'll start farming pumking so I could upgrade everything and become a millionnaire!

I feel like the time breakdown to make each of these things is really important

If you add two extra pumpkins to each puff Goofy buys it for 2817. Which at a cost of 1225 for the extra pumpkins gives you a profit of 1592.

Grow pumpkins and then make grilled vegetables using x5 pumpkins. That might be the best way to make money.

I wouldn't exactly call this fast, but it is effective. The cooking animarions are so sliw, I'd rather just sell the pumpkins and skip making puffs/soup. If I farm 400 pumpkins every two or three days, I always have more than enough money to empty Scrooge's store.

My other favorite crop is eggplants! They don’t take as long as pumpkins to grow and they give a huge profit! And it’s great for if you don’t have the forgotten lands yet. (I just now unlocked it and am farming pumpkins for the first time!)

I agree you definitely do make more with the grilled veggie platters with 5 pumpkins. The soufflé and puffs require you to BUY additional ingredients that cannot be grown and harvested so in essence, you are spending MORE money to make the dish than you will get back in profit.

This has been how I’ve done it since the beginning I was hoping to find some recipe or thing I missed but it’s literally grow pumpkin harvest make 5 pumpkin veggie platters until I fall asleep

Another tip I learned from playing is that you can farm some pumpkins and to increase your value you can make a grilled veggie platter with three pumpkins because it will give you more profit then just selling three pumpkins since only three is 1,992 coins but making it into grilled veggie platter with three pumpkins gives you so much more coins , the only down side is that is really tedious and takes awhile.

So I took all my other veggies out of my storage besides pumpkin, and it lets me auto fill a grilled veggie platter with pumpkins that way. These are definitely a money maker so thanks for the idea!

I wish we could mass cook things. And not have that cut scene. I would just make pumpkin puffs. Instead I just plant and harvest pumpkins lol

I usually make the pumpin soup instead of the puffs. I think they gives a greater profit, but I have not calculated so closely. I do want to add that I have a looooot of ginger stocked which I guess is the biggest problem for most. I use 1 pumpkin, 1 milk, 1 ginger and 1 Lettuce (as they are cheap and grow fast) :)

I just did the math, and if you use lettuce you've farmed as your veg, you get 920 back for each soup

I make the Grilled veggie platter with 3 pumpkins and that gives you a profit of 1962

Lol for some reason whenever i add pumpkin to the dishes that require an extra vegetable it raises the price of that dish when selling it

The only problem is that it will use up all my coal (another cost if you buy) which I really need for crafting so for me it’s more time consuming! But thanks for the tip, definitely surprising

Grab a mining friend and go mining! I have an over abundance of coal and gems, but I am so glad I hoarded coal from the beginning because coal helps make iron ingots (and iron ingots are my most precious item right now. Every quest I seem to get wants 10 iron ingots to craft and so I go right back to mining for 50 iron ore 😩). Sometimes I get (un)lucky and end up finding some that only have coal. (i say unlucky because as I said before, when I'm looking specifically for iron ore, I end up finding gems, coal, and stone instead lol). Also by having a mining friend, you build up their friendship fast too! I made Merlin, Moana, and Kristoff my mining buddies and all of them are at level 10 now. (Mirabel is also mining, and I believe she's currently at level 8 or 9). I agree with you though, it's time consuming (I got so bored of collecting for quests I stopped playing for half a year! I missed the Halloween and Christmas updates because of it).

Once you get kristoffs stand you can buy stack of 99 for just a little over 500 star coins 😊

i just sell my pumpkins. i cant bother to cook something with over 1500+ pumpkins per harvest. its more than enough on its own XD

Yeah I am still in the okra phase and just a few Dreamlight from getting access to pumpkin. This will be super helpful as soon as I start farming them.

I LOVE YOU!! thanks you so much I plated 50 punking and I would end up with 130 total and I would get double because using mickey that he's job is under garden or whatever he would get me the extra punking when he helps. And everytime I do it I sell up to 130 an 70K total I'm almost at 600 thousand coins. 😊

I just stick with planting and harvesting pumpkins with companion to double the yield then sell them. its way to tedious to make so many puffs and since I play on console there’s not really a hack that can be done to make it faster to cook like pc has. So slow and steady for me but it racks up if u keep at it

I feel like I’m the only one who farms canola! Buy it for $25 and sell for $109! I make $84 Profit off each one and it only takes 35 mins to grow! Super fast compared to pumpkins

Canola is great too!! I did it primarily before I unlocked the forgotten lands!! Now that I have my star coins high I plant the pumpkins and forget about them until I need to harvest them!

better stay with pumpkins , time consuming always the best choice and healthy one :D

yes so much time can be wasted cooking the puffs...lol it can be hard not to compare your gameplay to someone elses, but if you are able to play successfully with the 3 million star coins, then don't worry about it! im around 2.5 right now and when i feel like its getting 'low' i will take about an hour to cook up the puffs!

I wonder if another recipe than the ones with pumkins would actually make more money way faster than any of these.. 🤔

i would absolutely love if mass cooking was an option just like mass crafting in the game, i had a hard time staying focused while trying to cook as many as possible!

@Kamisha henry thats good. I wasn't sure cause I didn't do it that much. But yes, you definitely save money on eggs and the other stuff. So sad that they fix the "bug" where you were able to cook without coal on the "stove" that you get from the Scar quest line. 😭

@Kamisha henry Yes, But if You use 30 Pumpkins and make 10 Meals with 3 you get 27 870 Gold If you use 30 pumpkins you can make 6 Meals ans get 24 690 Gold So you actually make more Money with 30 pumpkins by cooking 3 of them. :)
