Of course to now kill the broken bears you now need to use a fanned lemat. This is an annoying process since it’s super slow and extra risky so I just ask why the hell have bears able to climb tents? It would make it so much easier if bears acted like bison and just couldn’t climb up tents

Gator is actually beter than bison, since it has gator tooth drop, bison has only 2 drops, not 3.

Im quite disagree unless you are a seasoned player. Gator might be better than bison, but it will be hard for beginners since swamp is crowded with bushes and have green atmosphere, which sometimes can conceal the gator.

Gators actually do spawn really frequently in the swamp and they drop a lot of good items like skin and teeth.

I recommend using the lancaster on bisons and crocodiles. Fast weapons like guycot work better on bears. When hunting crocs you can just stand on your horse to not get hit.

I personally thinks gators are the best they are easier and faster to kill using a sharp volcanic combo there’s more of them to hunt in a smaller area they respawn faster than bears but the same as bison they have more drops that drop more often for me in my personal experience and selling at Callahan is just as good as selling at the forts for the other two, it may give less but it’s twice as fast

Why did bro just write my exact strategy as well.. Gator are the easiest because of all the things my boy just listed + they (almost) constantly make noise and its a very easy noise to hear. An Albino gator also spawns at some points and ofc the Leg Gators. Gators are also extremely easy to glitch, meaning that they're easy to get stuck. Gators are harder at night, but hunt them enough and you will literally feel night time just like day time. I've killed over 300 gators (might not sound like alot, but it sure is), and you just get so much money. Selling at manor also alot quicker. Now you are more exposed because you got the train constantly rollin through the swamp, you got people hunting deers in the tribal forest, and ofc bcus of the new update the wendigo spawns alot in tribal forest so alot of people there at those times. But it is also the least hunted animal so you will rarely find anyone else hunting gators. I would recommend setting down a campfire somewhere hidden like under the train's bridge or just simply in the swamp. I would also recommend finding a server with 16-22 players, not more not less, this way the gators still have the same spawn rate (leg + albino as well) as on any server with 22+ people. I would not expect anyone to read all this since its a reply on a comment with 16 likes, but hey mabye im wrong :D

at the start , i was in pain , you took your loot , an-n-n took it out of a safe zone ;-;

Quick tip while hunting gators u can place a camp table and stand in the middle of it and it is impossible for gators to attack you

Basically, spawn at Bronze City, go towards the bank and exit the town that way, follow the path to the little foot and rail bridges over the stream coming from Raiders Canyon and turn left, and you will find a hole in the ground. Look up about the water cavern to learn its layout and all the ores in it.

I recommend navy revolver or lockhe revolver

huntin is good but i prefer minin at water cavern yeah u have to duel a gator and get your height to max so you wont fall at the water and get eaten but it gets you to like 2.5k if you only have your pickaxe on and other items at the bank

so what i use is: a longbow for anything that's not a bison a sawed off shotgun incase a croc or a bear gets too close a sharps rifle for one-shotting bison and just a revolver because it's a starter gun

damn didnt even know legendary animals existed

I think bisons should be in 1st place because 4 of them spawn extremely close to eachother very quickly and its easy to get legendary ones you just gotta know their spawn

Yeah, it’s also not as profitable as mining, but mining can become boring

Best to hunt with horse bow since bears and gator have a lot of hp, use horse bow because it does 98 damage to the head (if you hold it long enough) and just use sharps to kill bison. Because I was able to kill a legendary bear by myself with horse bow

I recommend using a peacekeeper revolver to hunt bears. Just fan at the head. Also, if you're hunting bison, peacekeeper fan at body or head.

@ sharps rifle sucks because the scope keeps moving and the steady aim takes like 2 seconds to get over and if you get attacked by outlaws you wont have the stamina to jump and run to dodge the bullets

I kindly disagree because gators are easier to kill then bulls or bisons. Because they are slower and have the same amount of hp so.. I would kill haters plus they have 3 drops and are very slow. But bison’s will char u as fast af so I recommend killing gators. Unles h have a fast hours like mustang or American quarter horse u should not really atack bisons.
