PSA: If you are struggling with the Godskin Noble because he can be a S.O.B!!!! It has been confirmed by the 'Hitless' community that the jump to skip the Godskin Noble and just grab the Somber Stone DOES STILL WORK! Don’t know if it’s my play style or Maybe it’s RNG or exceptionally good luck but I found the duo quite doable the old fashioned way, beating them in first try each time (as mage, as Arcane and as mostly Dex builds)

I've started trying to use this build on a prisoner. beyond the obvious getting of some better armour and finding the Uchigatana, both of which i have now done, are there any additional steps you would recommend I take?

In souls it helped jumping by removing weight ie: armor, weapons, etc. 👌

I'm in the capital at RL31 with +2 dual great stars (cold on one, flame of the redmanes on the other). Just beat Godfrey (the shade) and going to whip Morgott as well. As soon as you possibly can after you start a new game, go to Nokron and get your mimic tear. When you do you should immediately be able to upgrade him to +5 just from running around sofria river well. You're good to go after that. Oh, and doing this does not mean you have to break quest lines as long as you continue to progress them for each area you go through. The potential NPC summons you can get from doing quest lines helps a lot as well.

Nice vid! Actually some good points and explanations, making it different from other similar guides. A couple of notes tho: I think it would be better to grab Bloody Slash before taking on Mama Greyoll, as it will boost bleed build-up on the katana. Also no reason not to grab the knife from the stormgate ruins for easy access to ash of war applications. And, finally, there's another somber 7 skip discovered instead of the patched bridge jump, but it's super finicky. But, as far as I know, Noble's AI break still wasn't patched. You need to activate the fight, leave, return and stand as close as possible to the fog gate, backstep, do a punch with the left hand, then enter. Wait a couple seconds while staring down on the floor and then go and hack him to pieces. Be careful to not stance break him tho, because it will fix his AI.

Loving the game so far. Bloodhounds fang is my main weapon. Can’t get it to +9 bc I don’t have somber 7 but I’m lvl 55+ and with some good RNG and cheese. Thank you Dom for the tips. I will definitely give this a go!🤘🏼

Coming back after a year, I still gotta say that this was really helpful starting off the game. I now usually do the Heavy Iron Ball with cragblade route and get those up to +12 (although I'm experimenting around with trying to collect SS5s and 6s and adding that in before I get to Leyndell). Those things pack insane damage vs. the early bosses even at +12 at RL1. I never actually found the need for the dragonwound grease on Greyoll. Her health is so massive that it's just easier to lean into the bleed procs with a katana or the spiked caestus. I usually attune the katana with Bloody Slash to make it faster, with blood grease on top if you have it. But I guess if you're going for the Somber Weapon, the grease is just there with the SSS9 anyways. For the Godskin Noble, I'm not 100% sure if Assassin's Gambit works for that fight, but in the duo fight, if you use Assassin's Gambit before they spawn and quickly walk back a bit, they won't aggro, and they will investigate where the sleep pots fall and put themselves to sleep. You'd need to kill Bernahl before you join the Volcano Manor for that, but he's kind of a pushover if you know his punishment window anyways (the golden vow he does).

Great guide. We didn't do it all, but it was helpful getting my 8 year old son lvled up to 40 pretty quick. I'm playing too and only 89 but he did it in two days vs my 3 months. Wish I had found it sooner.

The jump does work, if go on the little peg right before the gears and then sprint jump from there and go as far back on the peg as you can to get more momentum

I personally like to go to Impassable Greatbridge first thing and go farm the Four-Toed Fowl Foot that is nearby. In which I use all of the runes I acquired from killing the birds and the runes I get from selling the Flight Pinion on certain attributes that I want to increase.

Why would you use all your somber-smitting stones on the Serpent Hunter when you could just go to the blacksmith and upgrade it to +4 and then go back in and fight Rykard and get the Blasphemy Blade and upgrade that instead to +9. That weapon turns the game into easy mode

Just as an example because it has 0 stat requirements 😊 - On an actual playthrough I'd for sure use it on something like the Blasphemous Blade instead!

In all my trying I’ve never been able to make that jump for No.7 and the video I watched the lip you have to jump onto looks bigger in the video than it did in my game

They patched this bridge jump. Thank god, i made a save fil with all 9 collected sombers for my all weapons playthrough

The beast repellent torch helps. Doesn't seem to work with bats though

This was seriously helpful, thanks! Although I decided to actually use the Sombre Smithing Stones 1-4 first, and get myself the Bloodhound's Fang, just getting Blaidd to help me in the fight. Your guide helped me gather a lot of the essential stuff that I needed to get to that point though. I plan on doing the Volcano Manor now, since I have a pretty tanky weapon to kill the Godskin Noble with.

For that jump you just take ALL equipment and armor off and it’s not too hard , will still take most some tries but it’s pretty easy naked w nothing at all equipped

You can still do it, just they put an invisible gate to make it really annoying to do. Started a brand new play through last week knowing about the patch fix, still took me 2 hours to do it! I'm stubborn

Love the guide and I followed every exact detail, only to make it to the godskin noble and run out of sleep pots. This fight is a total bitch. I've now spent over 3 hours trying to find extra trina lily and I'm running out now. That's a finite resource from what I understand unless you get lucky with a drop from a spirit jellyfish. I think at this point it's just a bust. I'm not sure if they nerfed the godskin noble fight so that the sleep pots aren't as effective, but I have wasted so many on what should have been accurate hits with them. Frustrating doesn't even begin to describe it.

I lost my stupid golden foot because a baby dragon somehow got over the barrier and one shot me 😢

I messed up badly I died in the volcano manor and spawned back in altus plateau now I can't get back

@@DomsRoundtable Never mind, your guide was very helpful, I made the jump and took the Somber Semething 7 easily yesterday, it was much easier than killing godSkin Noble, however, my wopean is at level 9 and my katana at level 17 and my level at 70 but I'm struggle with godSkin noble, cuze I made a mistake with building my character levels, can you tell me how can I rebuild or reset my character stats?

That second site of grace is impossible to miss, you head directly through the main path, you will eventually run across a Imp Fog wall, ignore it and head towards a building with lots of enemies hanging everywhere inside, clear the building and you will get the site of grace.

That jump does t work your better off wrong warping to the last area for somber 7

Guide lacked description and map location details for newer players. Too rushed in my opinion when we as viewers could skip things if needed.

I'm not sure why gamers today want to do this. I understand getting tips to help with certain bosses or things that are unclear but you definitely spoil the experience this way. Do what you want ofc and if you enjoy the game more like this so be it. I'm just baffled how anyone want a 150 hour game be done in 2 hours if you paid full price for it. Good video though, nothing wrong with that.

I agree, I really do 😊 - I guess the main aim for this was targeted at people who've already completed the game and got what they want out of it, and just want to steamroll through the grind of a second playthrough, so they can get back to the juicy bits quicker again!

Most people at this point beat the game, so I do it to see how strong I can get as early as possible. What you should be talking about is how this basically locks you out of co op and pvp, with a weapon that high and level that low.

No ancient dragon smithing stone? Max level? Your videos are quite good.

The jump is completely patched. Sleep pots against the Noble is the way to go. DO NOT waste any time on the jump!!!
