The Best Way To Explore Copenhagen, Denmark For A Day

If you have one day and only few hours because of the cruise ship. The best way to explore Copenhagen is to take the Hop on Hop off bus.
we decided to get the City Sightseeing Tours over the Red Sightseeing because it has more routes to offer. The City sighseeing has 3 available routes, The Red, The Green and The Purple. Now, if you have a limited time, check the schedule of the bus so you can maximize all the places you like to see in their route.
The price of the Hop on hop off bus is 30 Euro with all the routes included. And if you add 5 euros, you will also get their boat tour, which rea and i will do it the other day.
Now, our cruise terminal is far from the routes of the bus and is located here but they have a bus pick up that will brings you to stop number 5. And from there, you will change and take the red line going to the city.
When you're coming back to the ship, the bus going back to the terminal is in stop number 5 also. Just ask the driver when is the last bus going to the ship. They usually runs every hour. So again, I suggest you plan ahead and know your time so you can visit most of the popular spots in Copenhagen.
Let me give you some of the popular stops that you might want to visit when you take the Hop on Hop off bus. Stop number 2 (Nu Hawn) or Nay-haven in English is the picturesque spots, along the river has alot of restaurants and definitely you want to visit this. Stop number 3, you will see the Amelianborg Palace and the Fredrick's Church with a marble look dome. And stop number 5, the very popular statue of a little mermaid sitting in the rock by the bay.

How far was the walk from the cruise terminal to stop number 5 for pick up/ drop off? Also, were you able to pay with credit card if you don't have their currency?

You don't have to walk. When the ship was dock in Terminal, there is a Hop on Hop off pick from there to stop number 5. You can use your credit card. They have a device to use your Credit card.

I probably mistaken. They do not accept Euro. They use Danish Krone.
