OMG I worked with an OG carpenter when I was in high school. I’ve finally got a table saw to complete my collection. The best thing he ever said was about using scrap wood to make fires 😯

Just the warning if you are using treated wood, you may not want like that on fire, especially if you live in a neighborhood or have nearby neighbors

I expect to see more woodworking projects with mesquite and applewood in the future :D

This is a superb wood working book I`ve ever read, *TopFineWoodworking. Com* . Both novice and some skilled woodworker can gain a lot of general info using this reading material. I`ve been very amazed how frequently I use this to look up woods at places like to restore and salvage spots.?

How to use scrap lumber: have a good time.

That's the kind of lowkey woodwork humour I want hahha

Out of all these KZread videos of people making these elaborate side tables, rhis guy makes a hotdog. Im here for it lol.

What we do in Kansas city is dump the lot infront of someone's yard at night. After about 1 week they the neighbours have to deal with it. It's communal work :)

Yes, they were 2x4s. It was either Pine or Douglas fir. Can't remember which.

Probably worth pointing out that you have to be thoughtful about what kind of wood you do this with. :) Some exotics, and things like MDF and pressure-treated would make for a nasty meal.

If it was pressure treated it wouldn't be. This wasn't pressure treated. Also, it was just a joke, not a cooking recommendation.

only thing I'm mad about this video is that he ate the hot dog alone. We all know dam well in america 🇺🇸🇺🇸 we eat chips with our hot dogs.
