Nice video as always! Totally agree with that list. For easy uber with a budget summoner, you only need a teleport staff with a merc using Obediance (40% cb, level 21 enchant, -25% target defense), Duress (open wound is mandatory to stop regen + Cb) and G face. Revive a few immune to everything pit lords from the furnace of pain to tank and watch your budget 90% crushing blow and 33% open wound merc shred ubers in seconds with your clay golem slow + decrepify, no need for Urdars. Just don't teleport directly on Meph, teleport just aside of it so you don't auto-kill yourself or your merc. The revives will tank the bolts. Did my first ubers with my untwinked necro on single player at level 86, ended 87 doing it and while a budget setup isn't as fast, it's very safe and efficient. The main thing that improves the kill speed is getting at a higher level, as a level 95 merc will kill them faster than at 86. It might be better using a blessed aim aura instead just for the ubers but i didn't test it.

I would put kicksin in no. 3. Her kick alone do wonders (melting bosses' HP) on a budget setup with 100% CB (Gface, Black, Toes), budget OW source and weapon with life-tap consumables on the switch. Much more in a fully-geared Uber setup. Not to mention her Cloak of Shadow is also very useful in uber.

I would have liked to see gear info on all builds. The way you said them only works for pros but new players might get a little off record. Also you could show budget and top sets for each build to finish uber.

Pretty nice to see my 2 favorite melee builds (werewolf and Frenzy barb) making the list. I just reinstalled Diablo 2 today thanks in no small part to binge watching these videos. Feels so good to be back.

Hey I figured out how to map a controller for playing D2 or PD2. I just haven't figured out how to make it move your character instead of point click.

Last time I played D2 I used a Conc Barb. With 2h ebotd SS and COH. Over 19k defense and 4k hp every proc he did well in ubers

@@BradyBonesPS3 I ended up going Blizz sorc and got her geared / used as MF character.... Made the Necro 2nd and he's all decked out now, he's stronger and more fun than the sorc (with enigma).

for necro my merc build is a litle diffrent i use pride on my merc act 2 and i try to take the act 2 that give you might so all my summon got the beast aura concentration aura and might they deal juste massiv dmg

I am struggle with Nihlathak runs .. Do you have some advise fot this? I don't have enigma, cta .. thans

I just respeced to a Hybrid. 75 fcr hammerdin with 208 mf for obviously mf reasons. And switch to grief/g-face for smiting ubers. Worked Well at my first try yesterday. Plus i got a pala torch 😅

How would you pre-buff Demon Limb? Do you have to have it as your wep swap? Or can you use it and then put your real weapon on?

You should also look into a dual Dream zealer Paladin. Does mini and Uber Trist with ease in Path of Diablo, even with one or two others in the game.

I heard somewhere that you can make short work of the Ubers with cows, is it true?

As someone who considers himself an uber pro. Your list is very good, the only thing I would have added is that a summon necro can do ubers with literally nothing but a tele staff and make great early torch farmers during a fresh reset. Cheers bro!

It’s not the last d2 ladder. It’s the last ladder before d2r comes out but will continue having resets every 6 months. . D2 and d2r will have different resets.

Get Rising sun amulet for Uber trist makes it very easy when vs Diablos minnions they pretty much keep u healed, you could also stand in fire that is on the ground and have it heal u as well

I do that for meph moating on my sorceress and council with my pally. Heal Hydra.

I do Uber with the wolfbarb. I guess it could go in the same spot as frenzybarb. Very tanky

Anything that gives crushing blow, and open wounds. A wand with lifetap on switch. That's all a smiter needs

I think Deadly Strike doubles the damage, so does critical strike (amazon passive) Crushing Blow reduces Enemy Life by a % instead of an absolute number

Honestly smiter is so good the only reason to use any other build is pure novelty. I remember back in the day making an uber smiter with such trash gear. As long as you have dracs, you can make it work with a 4 p dia shield and a shael'd phase blade lol.

Gosh I remember those days. Cheap cheap gear. In Resurrected I started it out as a cheap build but ended up getting some solid mid-late game gear early on before doing my first Ubers so I had dracs, Up'd hoz, crescent moon pb, gore riders, guild face, tgods, Highlords, ravenfrost and nagelring. But sadly I didn't have any cta but you don't need it if you have 1200 life or more. 1 or smite build as well since I made mine a v/t Foh/Smite

A hammerdin can run it as well. Grief, zaka, gface, dracs, raven frost, goblin toe. Smite is that OP. You dont even need a point in fanaticism since phase blade has so much attack speed and concentration scales the damage on grief so your good. Not as good as a dedicated smiter but probably as good as any other of 4 builds given here.

@@supercowgaming Yep, I changed my BotD for a Grief on my Zerg Barb. Before the change I was 3 shotting the mobs, after I was one shotting everything except fat mobs like Death Lords. The best weapon in the game for a single Lo rune, crazy.

Its just easy since you don't necessarily need armor specifics for a fishy mancer

I use to just put a shealed phase blade with dracs,hoz,gore,dracs on my hammerdin lol and used low level smite.

You can absolutely do it, infinity is overkill in my opinion, enigma can be easily replaced by a teleport staff or ammy and beast helps a lot but worst case scenario you might need to do a few runs back to resummon if the clear is slow and your minions die. It's quite safe as long as you keep your minions up and overstack light res against mephisto in case a stray lightning hits you. I would mostly curse them with decrep with an occasional lifetap for a few seconds so that your urdars can regen. If you give your merc Kelpie Snare and he manages to hit, + clay golem slow + decrep they can't move at all!

Yes, most builds only put enough str/dex to wear their items, and then rest in vitality. The only time ive seen anyone put more into dex is when they want to get max block.

I had an epic fail on D2R single player Ubers on Xbox. Lagged so bad Meph loaded on the TP on top of me. Spirit Keeper is great for lightning absorb paired with a wisp. Swap on Rising Sun ammy when you get to Diablo. Life tap wand on swap. I can’t cast lifetap in wolf.! Even with the new patch!

May i make a noob question? Is this “map revealer” allowed in ladder? And those mods of drops? If yes, where can i get that? Thx, and love your videos!!!

Its not a mod or pack, he is playing single player not bnet. The maps are the same every time for single player i believe and you can set the player count to 8. Bnet does not have that feature since you can join group games for farming up to 8 players. Though I played this game back in 2001 for many hours. It is a great game and very excited for D2R to come out! it is a must buy if blizzard stays true to D2+(LoD) mechanics

Hi. Bone skill damage source is magic. Never tried but most likely you won't be able to farm ubers with the bone necro due to 75% magic damage resistance of all the uber Tristram bosses. I'm not aware of a way to lower magic resistance. This way, there is no way for a bone necro to deal any significunt damage to any of the bosses, meanwhile they will be doing it to you :)

I've done Ubers with Grief Kicksin and Ribcracker Fury Druid and it was more saisfying than my Smiter.

Grief doesnt make any sense on a kicksin, the + damage and deadly strike don’t work. Astreons or kingslayer in a phase blade are better options.

i did all my hardcore uber runs with the frenzy barb, only scary part is lilith but if you use a life tap wand ur good. and relatively cheap gear, grief+death and treachery/smoke for mephisto, demon limb buff for some AR, i had around 15k ar i think, you miss a lot but get the job done without dying which was my main concern of course cause it was hc..

my number1 is still the summon necro caus it can mf the whole game from andy to ubers just everything. hes not the fastest but he can do it all :) just create a game, get the army up and do every single boss and all the special spots. but the biggest advantage is.. youre never alone! xD

The main reason it needs fanat, ar and haste. The dmg stacking with pride and might merc will make a single skeleton hit well over 2k. Each.

What do you mean when you say that your conviction aura cancels out Mephisto's?

Mephisto's is lvl 20. If your Pally's is higher, you win and Meph's doesn't count. Active, of course.

Yeah the level 12 conviction is like -80ish% defense, though sadly conviction doesnt break phys immune.

In the beginning you probably will but it has its tricks and if you play it right you'll end up having a lot of torches without much problem. The new plugy also has minions which make it substantialy harder than the previous one

Just put some diamonds in a shield, runeword black flail, life tap wand on switch and run with a smiter. This is quite trash stuff but it will do fine. I used a hammerdin with one point into smite and a tele staff to farm organs.

It's doable but as usual the prime build is fairly expensive, A2 might merc with pride, iron golem made from insight and a beast on your necro, gcs and all the other stuff and in the end a mid geared smite build is still more effective

Small update with the Mosaic assassin...

Smiter is obv 1 cause you can Uber with a smiter as low as level 30 that I have seen. The lowest I have done is 66. But died several times

Where is conviction zealer? Only one conviction aura can be active at once. If yours is higher, Mephs aura won't affect you and your party. And zeal is great for life leech (yeah I know you don't leech off the skeletons) and clearing trash. Death/Phoenix build hits like a truck in PvP and can kill anything in the game. Fantastic multi-purpose toon if you can afford the gear. Probably the best supporting character in the game as well. Best partner for topping Baal by a huge margin.

You COULD use act 3 merc with uber specific builds, but Act 2 merc is just supreme

Watching this and I laughed a little because the kicksin was 5 due to "low damage". Completely true when this came out but now days? bwahaha I did a dual mosiac kicksin who gets up to 60k attack rating and she brings down the ubers and dclone like they are nightmare act bosses. It was a bit insane the only "challenge" is getting all of your charges built up before you go in.

for now its Kicksin first,i clear ubers inside 4minutes with my kicksin :D

C'mon, take your lvl99 Lit Sorc out. How far wrong can you go? Love to watch the Amazon, too.

a little off the topic of Ubers, but i just had 4 runes drop in the same run all off the Countess! Got a screeny of it and now i'm curious if anybody else has had more than 4 drop/ or is that even possible? My previous best drop was 3 runes together which were a Sol, Ort, & Thul rune which i was chuffed to bits with as i tend to get unlucky usually lol

Theoretically the countess can drop a maximum of 6 runes but it's very unlikely. Countess is known to be the single best source of runes below Ist.

The easiest answer is smiter. I also soloed Ubers with a frenzy barb.
