As someone who's never played Trackmania, the Snow Car looks like it feels like driving a toy car. Like, seeing it drive, it doesn't look like it has any weight. The Rally Car looks slightly heavier, but compared to the Stadium Car they both look kind of jarring.

thats exactly how they feel to drive as well. the slow timing-based physics of the stadium car drew me to the game, and the twitchy action key physics of the new cars are pushing me away

It just doesn't feel good to drive the snow car or rally car. Rally car is slightly better but only marginally. Also, going back to stadium car after driving either rally/snow just feels like steering an oil tanker. Unfortunately seems like poor execution on a cool idea.

As a short-time Trackmania player, my opinion on the snow car and rally car is they are generally fine. My problem is the constant switching between cars, as well as surfaces. When the driving physics are changing every 2 seconds, or mid-turn, or requiring different action keys, it really makes me feel like going back to TMNF.

My opinion on Snow car/Rally car: Both cars feel much less refined in their implementation than the stadium car, making them feel very janky and awkward to drive. More careful consideration of balancing between input devices and custom skin support would have made these new cars feel like a propper addition rather than a novelty item.

My opinion on the snow car as a long-time Trackmania nonplayer is that I want to watch Wirtual spill mayonnaise on the floor and slide around in it.

I really like this new direction of videos. Uncommon maps, uncommon tournaments, occasional calm offline videos, it's a lot of interesting variety!

As someone who doesn't play trackmainia ill make this outside observation of the snow and rally cars: I feel like they're being significantly hurt by the lack of custom skins. Something kinda feels off seeing just a flat blue car instead of wirtuals skin. I know personally if i was playing one of the racing games i play and was given the choice between a car that could only be painted in a flat colour or one where i can put a custom livery i will almost always go for the latter. Having a custom livery makes the car feel more me and generally just looks way better usually.

I started watching your videos 3 or 4 years ago, but never played Trackmania, i enjoy watching you play and your commentary, it is quite enjoyable.

I have been playing Trackmania casually on and off since TM-Turbo and i like the snowcar actually more then the rally car, the snowcar campain was a real banger which i didnt really feel with the rally campain.

As a person who has played Trackmania probably once, for some reason this content has really captivated me over the last few weeks. Earned a new sub even though I don't even play this game, the content is funny and the community also seems hilarious.

as a long time trackmania player, I think the Hylis' personal love for the snow car blinded his judment for the decision to make it EXACLTY like the 2003 gameplay. if you name your game after the year it came out "2020", you should not be copy-pasting 20 year old gameplay.

A good showing for the first 69, next round you just have to dig in a bit to find the rights spots.

The snow and rally car got me back into the game and I still go out of my way to play snow car maps!

I think it’d be great to get videos of you revisiting some of these maps and seeing where the records are at now

Part of that percentage to never have touched TM, but avidly watches your uploads, here o/ It’s fun to watch maps get broken, and to watch weird scores/times set

as a long time trackmania player (I've never touched the game) my opinion on the different cars is that the devs were too eager to add more cars to the game. The player base is naturally gonna prefer the way they've been playing since release over this new way that completely changes your physics. In my opinion, Nadeo should've waited like a year or a year and half to release a new car. They could've promoted the snow car in the campaign and cup of the days and maybe some other unique ways. This gives the player base a long time to adjust to the new cars and makes it feel like it's being integrated smoothly. Releasing 2 cars almost back to back doesn't give the players enough time to "appreciate" one or the other.
