I've been to Stubenville! Off topic: Please have Fr Ripperger on! But NOT to talk about his work as an exorcist. Instead, ask him about the overlap of psychology and the spiritual life, the mechanics of prayer, thomistic philosophy applied to mental and spiritual wounds, the temperaments, etc. He has so much knowledge beyond exorcism.

Family is from east Liverpool up river from Steubenville, the river valley may be a bit worn down but great people

Lived in Steubenville for 6 years and it was depressing. Franciscan University doesn’t reflect the area around it

@@eoinMB3949 As an alumni of Franciscan, you absolutely won't regret the authentically Catholic education you'll get there. Although I heard downtown Steubenville is sketchy, so make sure you stay in a dorm 👍 🙏 Also it would be good to apply for financial aid and scholarships because it's not cheap.

I left Steubenville in 1964 enlisted in Air Force. I returned in 1968 and left again when Weirton steel wouldn’t hire me no family in mill. I have no regrets about leaving. Steubenville is a dead town. I got a better employment working for an airline.

I only visited Stuebenville for the defending the faith conference so I probably didn't see much of it other than the university and a couple restaurants near the school. I did see the old remnants of the steel industry.

The Franciscan University don’t care about steubenville

Cleveland might actually be the best overall Catholic major city imo.

Steubenville plays in my schools district in high school football. It’s so goofy to just see that it’s a small town.

It’s not the Ohio Valley pizza…

Would love to move to Stubenville, is there anywhere to work other than the university?

There’s a town in the pittsburgh area called robinson township and is about 30min from the university and it has tons of businesses there. They have more businesses there than just about any town I’ve seen
