while i personally like revolution i dont think it’ll ever get the hobby love as the card stock is a cheap thin paper easily damaged. When u have the chromium cards at least u get a sense that its a “premium” product, so even though revo isnt watered down, i think its a design quality thing

It’s funny how before the NIL deal, players’ name/image/likeness could be used with their college logo. But now, their college logos need to be photoshopped.

The only way that was possible was if 1) player was already out of college and/or drafted, 2) the manufacturer had the rights to the college license. There was never an opportunity for there to be college logos + player still in school, since that would’ve been illegal.

@@SlabStox I’m talking about what led to the NIL: the antitrust lawsuit (eg Ed O’Bannon). Ex: making a video game or Nike college jersey with a player’s jersey number, but no nameplate. So I guess the “N” isn’t used, but “I” and “L” definitely are.

Raw cards don’t hold the allure they used to when you could get them graded for $8!!
