Seems like an Antique mall not so much a 'thrift store'

Blown away that you left there with only 1 item, and I just love that it was for your “patriot husband.” We need more of those!!

I have been here a couple times. It is not a thrift store. It’s a vintage shop and it is pricey. Everything is very organized and neatly displayed.

That sore seemed very clean. I was impressed that most things were bagged up and organized.

Sure seems that was pretty pricey stuff though thanks for all you do

Guitar Mania was an event that decorated the city with 100 specially painted fiberglass guitars. Artists painted the guitars, they were displayed, then later auctioned to benefit charities. A classmate, George Kocar, with quite a published art career, did one of my favorites. ❤

I would definitely call this an antique store, not a thrift store. glad you had a great time! I live on the east side of Cleveland so I definitely will be checking the store out.

Used to work for SVP (aka Singer). I have the little black machine. Yes, it was marketed for kids. It didn’t take a bobbin, but when threaded properly (above and below) it did a good quality chain stitch. It works the thread on both sides of the fabric. What I haven’t seen before is that case - ooohhh, I’d love to have that! What even increases my temptation more is that I live about an hour’s drive from Cleveland! Thanks for sharing this! If nothing else, I have to see this shop!

My oldest daughter is pregnant with our 15 th grandchild?" We have not had a baby in family for 4 years! So needless to say all baby girl fabric and patterns, ribbon have once again made it back to sewing room? Can you see I’m a little excited!😂 I’m having knee replacement surgery 🩼 🩼👩🏼‍🦽‍➡️❤ in October, baby due before ❤Christmas! So I’m whipping out baby layette like a crazy Grandmama!👵🏻😍

Oh I love that your daughter Jessica let you share that precious moment with us. To hear your grand babies heart beat for the first time is just amazing. The Lord is amazing, isn’t that right! I have 3 children & 8 grand babies…I am still in aww of our Lord. It amazes me every time. What a blessing Tracy! Thank you for sharing that moment with us too. Now that store was unreal! I am a bit like you in that sometimes …wall to wall…even absolutely wonderful is too much for me. I would have to take a break literally! 🤣 I know after the fabric, I would have headed straight to the 70’s clothes! My style of choice! WILD! 🤫🤭😂

I think I could spend a week in that shop and I don’t usually go to thrift stores although I consider that store a vintage store. Incredible! Very well organized.

I sewed doll clothes on that machine. There was a clamp so you could attach it to the table. I think my twin sisters got it in the mid 50s.

I would be overwhelmed also. Oh so sweet baby!

I shop better when the stores are not jam packed.

I've done that with my daughters...how fun!! Such a miracle - not the thrift sore, but the heartbeat❤.

WOW those prices are high there, I"m telling you go to I-76 Antique mall Ravenna, Ohio prices are are sooooo much better then there.

Hi Tracy, wow what a store. I had a pair of the rainbow sheets on my bed as a teenager. Those would be about 50 years old. I had the exact same black Barbie case. Wishing your daughter well with the baby.

Walk down memory lane when you pulled out that green/yellow sheet set, I had that same set. Loved this video, I was missing your videos at that goodwill.

I definitely shut down when I am overwhelmed! I had the same experience at a place in Huntsville Alabama ,not to far from where I live! But I didn’t buy anything! But I have dreamed about all the things I could bought and used in quilt making! I will go back!

I had a sew magic sewing machine when I was little. That store is awesome.

What a treasure trove for us slow stitchers! So much stuff and nicely displayed and packaged. It looked pricey though.

Wow! I wish I had known about that place when I was in Cleveland last year. Overwhelming for sure!!! There’s a similar place in Lancaster PA. Saw a LOT of cool stuff there too!

OMG I would have spent morning to night looking in there. lol Those patterns! I would have got me a chair and went through everyone of them..lol Im a tailor so I collect vintage patterns. Volunteers of America in North Olmsted is inexpensive and huge and has tons of stuff, a fair amount if it is good to great. Their jewelry was amazing. When I lived in the Cleveland area, that was my go-to. Cleveland is a wonderful town for arts and culture. I really enjoyed living there. This is more of an antique store. Not a thrift store.

Dear sewing channel lady, did you even interview the owner? This is NOT a consignment shop, the owner buys his inventory.

My Sister-in-law and I always go thrifting when we get to meet up (we unfortunately live 6 hours away from each other) I tell you there are some great thrift stores in Ohio (also in Michigan) It's so much fun. I get the feeling overwhelmed in places with "too many" things - it's even worse when you aren't sure what you are looking for. I have found that taking a break - having a cup of tea/coffee and THEN going back helps. lol The store looks amazing! but a weeeee bit expensive. (for my taste)

I know exactly what you mean op shops totally overwhelm me I can’t concentrate in there I think it’s to do with my OCD everything crammed in so tight. One of my daughters loves op shopping she used to have days out with my best friend when she was growing up the two of them would just get lost in op shopping heaven, she wore op shop fashion as a teenager it was great she mixed stuff together that her siblings thought were awful or weird until she had it on then it looked so good. We are talking back in the 90s old men’s argyle jumpers, corduroy pants, jersey knit dresses she was very cheap to cloth I can tell you not so much the 3 others lol

Hi tracy! Wow! I'ts a good thing I dont live near Ohio! I'd stay broke all the time! How exciting to be having another grandchild! Congratulations! Some of my grandchildren call me granny! Even when I was in my 40's. My great granddaughter calls me gramma. I never understood the word mimi, but that's what my great granddaughter calls my daughter. My m ok m was Big Mama to my grandchildren and if I had my preference that's what they'd all call me. Guess where I grew up? Just some I teresting trivia!

What a wonderful day. I just took baby scans etc for granted until my mum went with my sister and she couldn’t believe what you could see on a baby scan. She’d never seen one as they weren’t available when she was pregnant with us. I’m like you, I can’t think when I get overwhelmed and I’d be just like you in this shop and then I’d regret all the things I didn’t buy!
