The BEST Stops On Route 66 | US Road Trip
In this video, you will see the best stops when driving Route 66.
Route 66, dubbed "the Mother Road" by author John Steinbeck, is one of America's most iconic highways, passing through eight states and three time zones. Travelers on Route 66 will see a diverse range of scenery, from the towering woodlands of Missouri to the flat plains and ranch land of Oklahoma and Texas. Expect to see iconic neon signs, time-capsule towns, curb-side classic cars, and ribbons of tarmac vanish into the distance. So hop in the car and prepare to be dazzled as we explore the best stops along the legendary Route 66.

Thanks, I’m glad you liked the video!
Great to see the route again. Traveled to the US in 2019 with my wife and two boys and did the Route 66 from Chicago to Los Angeles. What a trip. Just did Japan, but the Route 66 is something speciel.
Oatman, Seligman, Kingman, Santa Fe … to name a few great towns you missed.

True, I should make a video with some places that are missing in this video… but Oatman I mentioned! Thanks for the comment though ;)

I would also stop at Williams Arizona. Loved that town and the Grand Canyon Railroad. Great Route 66 vibes.

It was mentioned.
You should have mentioned Springfield MO and San Bernardino CA , both cities are on route 66. I have lived in both cities. Lots of history and things to do. Bass Pro headquarters and the first McDonald's.
You did good, but you had a drone shot of Roy's a little early in the video friend.
Thanx for the Info. 👍I always wondered how to catch Route 66 in Chicago & I never realized that it could take me right to Santa Monica Pier. I know someone who lives in the area, so I'll have to surprise her sometime. I hope she isn't armed! 😱
What happened to the Dixie Truck Stop north of Springfield IL?

It's still there.
You got to visit Uranus Missouri!
Subscribed. Love your accent. Serbia?
You mixed a couple of California stops in with KANSAS😂
So much of the video doesn’t match the commentary. For example you see a video of Roy’s while the audio is talking about Kansas.
You should see 4 points Arizona its where 4 states meet

@@bobbywhiteman9421 Well, the lifestyle isn't for everyone, but I fit right in with the rest of the oddballs! What I miss most is all the people from all over the world that I got to visit with almost on a daily basis. It was ironic, the Americans who saw us thought we were backwoods hicks. We may have looked like a bunch of uneducated bumpkins, but often, it was they who were the rubes! We were actually pretty sophisticated!
Is it ok to do this in October
@travelthetop
Жыл бұрын
Sorry for the late reply! Yes, you can do it in October. Just prepare for rapid weather changes. Also, the eastern part may be cooler than you think.
Sorry, but that was not the Rainbow Bridge at 4:57
I'm gonna guess that you are a Scorpio.
very hard to listen because of the accent. couldn't understand half of it
I honestly was so bored that I fell asleep then woke up bc of how annoying his voice was lol 😂🎉😮❤😅
