Tbh it's a bit like Russel in Sakhir. Sure he didn't win the race but he certainly proved his worth. Which like Russel, will probably benefit him in the future *if* McLaren's progress stalls or they go backwards, which tbh I hope doesn't happen because they're looking strong.

He'll get his win next year I'm sure of it. It usually takes some heartbreak before that first career win, even the likes of Vettel, Alonso, Massa, Perez, Lauda, Schumacher, Leclerc etc know that feeling all too well

Pitted at 3rd and only managed to just get it back. I would have risked it and carried on with the mediums for a laugh!
