Great to meet another member of the RevZilla bunch on the podcast. Brandon has a great radio voice as far as I'm concerned. Btw an idea that's been rolling around in my head for some time now -- how about having Keanu Reeves as a guest on the podcast? I know he's quite the Hollywood superstar and might be hard to get but he's an avid rider (heck, he even has his own custom motorcycle company) and despite his Hollywood status, he's such a down-to-earth kind of guy, he just might agree to doing this thing and I for sure would love to hear the three of you geek out about motorcycles for an hour and a half. :) Cheers from the Czech Republic. :)

I use rain mode whenever my wife jumps on the back of my BMW K1600GTL. The softened throttle response makes it a much smoother and more pleasant experience for her (shifting, accelerating, etc...). Happy wife = happy life!!!

I feel dumb. When the part with Brandon transitioned in I was like "MAN! His voice sounds SO familair! Where could I have possibly seen / heard this guy before??? Like a movie or something?" ...... It's from Revzilla gear reviews :| Voice like butter though.

You mentioned Paris to Dakar. A fascinating book on this is Against Gravity by Edward McCabe. Not sure how I came across this book, but am very glad I did. Basically it's about an advertising executive with a fashion-photographer fiancee who one day just says "Hey, this sounds pretty cool - wanna go do it?". Obviously had no idea what they were getting into, which makes it an even more captivating read.

I can appreciate the hosts attempt at trying to remain open minded and neutral on the subject matter/how they truly feel about e-sports racing and sim games, but the contempt is so palpable, you can almost taste how boomed out these two are.

Been enjoying all the videos the Revzilla guys have been releasing! Been riding for 17 years, yet there is always something new to learn and try. Started on a dirt bike then mostly street. Just recently started to combine the two with some ADV riding. Y’all keep the great videos rolling!

Hi chaps, as a Brit I found this really helpful. I'm just starting to get into some off-road riding after 10 years of road riding. It's great to see the entertainment/spectator side of off road, especially an explanation of the different variants. But next time please add more European information (events, websites etc.), as you guys are appreciated globally!

HSLS podcast (and my wireless headphones) saved my Saturday night.... from yet another Disney kid movie!!! Best off road racing to watch (on TV)... has to be Rally Raid, and more specifically Dakar. Yes the name is now anachronistic, but the racing and scenery is top notch (from the original routes to South America and to Saudi Arabia). Slight correction, the top motorcycle class is fully supported by mechanics and crew. The class discussed is Malle Moto, which is unsupported. If anyone wants to see how that is check out Lyndon Poskitt Racing channel, Races to Places series. Lyndon rode around the world, from race to race, on the same bike (mostly). Second favorite to Rally Raid, has to be Hard Enduro. The riding skills and stamina of those riders are amazing! Not mentioned is Supermoto, on mixed tracks. Dirt and pavement in every lap!!! Like AFT also. Getting that traction threshold down is quite the skill!!! EDIT to add: Between Spurg, Zack, Ari, Lance, Jenn, Patrick and Brandon, Revzilla has quite a nice group of people working there (I know you are not all at the same locale).

This connected so many dots for me with history, eye-witness stories and expert experience all mixed in.... My experience has been the Three Flags Classic and some Iron Butt. Will you cover those in future? Also, Is like your take on hill climbing competition. Thanks, as always, for a great time!

It sounds like the whoops are too much of a deciding factor, such that the rest of the course is of little consequence by comparison. Which makes it feel like the person who wins a given race was just the person who was the best at the whoops on that day. I would say, based on you guys’ descriptions, that the difficulty of the whoops should be brought down to be more in line with the other obstacles in the course, unless the intent is to find the person who is the best at riding the whoops.

What's the matter Colonel Sanders...CHICKEN? I think the video games are harder than riding in real life. Just for future reference "guys" used in the context of "Hey you guys" or similar is non-gender specific. I think changing a tire should a prerequisite for getting a license along with being able to show a basic understanding of how a your vehicle works. Brandon isn't wrong golf is fun to play but oh so boring to watch. Not into off road stuff but you guys made this fun just by doing your thing, cant wait for the on road edition! I did a demo day last June on a 1300cc bike. They had it set for eco mode which a few minutes in I turned off. After having the bike in regular mode for about a minute I put back into eco mode. Theses setting do really make a difference.
