Maybe you should move to Telegram. Try not to open another WhatsApp on the same phone, it will be banned too. Just get a new or another phone and get a new number to continue using WhatsApp

I don't get code for initializing again and they can't call me too for verification from WhatsApp I have tried several times. Any help

That's a big problem. Can you talk with your GSM company to know if they applied any kind of DND (Do Not Disturb) mode to your line. Alternatively, you can go to whatsapp.com/contact and click on contact us to message support

No, you can't linked a banned account. You can try logging in with the banned number after 2 months

@@webeetechnology Latest update, i found out the issue that triggered the ban. I linked another mobile phone to the same number while using web whatsapp. As for your question, try inserting a new sim card into the same phone where your whatsapp was ban but don't register that new sim card's number.

My number was banned. I tried registering the number again but the error message I got was that I should register the sim on the official Whatsapp. Mind you, even before it was banned,I was making use of the official Whatsapp. Please,how do I resolve this,when am still making use of the official Whatsapp?

This is a double tragedy. The person took over your WhatsApp with OTP and did things that violated WhatsApp terms of service. You have two options write WhatsApp support whatsapp.com/contact and click on contact us to message whatsapp support directly sharing your experience. You can also wait for about two months and try to activate WhatsApp again using the same phone number or just get another number and activate it on another phone

Which WhatsApp client are you using? First, you'll have to uninstall any 3rd party whatsapp client from your phone. Wait until two months, uninstall official WhatsApp and reinstall from Playstore

Never transfer data of banned WhatsApp account, it's risky. Just use a new number on a new phone, you'll be fine but make sure not to used the same email for backup. After two months, try again on the banned number
