Its easier to build the main 2by1 on the high foundation instead of the lower, then you will not have the "placing doors" problem

to put down the door u just need to go downstairs to the tc room look up and place them u see it a bit blue were u are placing them thats all behind the secret and it took me 10 seconds to find that out

You can place doors from underneath or wait to build the second layer of floor on the 2x1 part until you have the highest grade doors you wanna have placed

If you don't have a skin, you can put the foundations on the sides first, and then put the roofs on for the entrances

It's a great concept and a pretty good base in most ways, but how do you get into the upper level shooting floors? Because of the offset levels, the gap between the square mid floors and the top of the double door frame is not high enough at both ends to jump up and fit through.

THE 3RD POV is great idea, is more comprehensible

Might steal some ideas for my stacked 2x1, but as a whole base it needs more work to be perfect

Is it true that 4 boxes can be opened in 2 minutes and 17 seconds? Has it been patched? I can't open the box I tested it and it applied on the builder server. I don't think it actually applies to other servers. I'm trying it on the builder server. I tried 5 times and succeeded once. I do it the same way, but I don't know why it fails.

I did it on a rustafied trio and solo server. Neither worked, but I might have caused the problem myself. I placed double ceilings in the honey comb. I tried to replicate the problem on a build server and could not replicate it. I did build it from memory on the vanilla servers. I don't really want to waste the time building a broken build on a vanilla server. I love everything about the base and would like to make it my go to build.

If you leave the floor wood, you can break it and do garage doors when ready, so the base is still my favorite design. I got raided 2 times last wipe. Neither time did they find the loot. I feel kinda bad for the guys so much, boom, and every bit of my loot remained. Ty for the great base

It looks similar to my double heptagon design, but its way more study than this. Your create 2x triangle circles that are connected on ground. Middle betwen those 2 is stairs bunker and it leads down into 2 locations (makes people guess the tc location). After this you create a honeycomb araund in the outer area, but instead of closing like usual, you either add vending machines or window bunkers. A raider will have to softside from inside to get to loot or rocket from outside. This increases your loot, but also provide same protection as standard honeycomb. On second floor you add 1.st halfwall honeycomb. After this you place a window bunker (the window can be removed by hammer at any time). 3th floor will have doors running all araund the base, increasing the door raiding cost. Those doors lead to 4th floor (there is another halfwall layer betwen 3 and 4) into another window bunker and your exit area (and top is another halfwall roof honeycomb). Now you add stonewalls super close to your honeycomb and squeze them as close as possible (heck you can even extend it for more protection and add roofs on top after) Walls will hide your base profile, making it harder for raiders to guess where your lootroom is. I would recomend putting more barbered wire on top. As for base exit ... you can adjust it so the exit is protected by turrets. Depens on how you design it --- a door raider will have to pass: 3x window bunker, 1x stairs bunker, 18 doors = raid cost .. 61300 sulfur A roof rocket raider will have to pass 6 walls from top down and still guess the tc location, wich can double the cost. Side raider will have to pass 5-6 walls.. also depends on design. = raid cost araund 63100 sulfur If you know the base weakspot it would take 44125 in total cost still.

You could have explained in the video you should not place dobbelt floor befor all doors was on. Cool base i made it work in creative mode but i had all mats there. In game i did build it up little by little and now i wanted to put in garage doors and now my base is 100% useless.
