Yes that’s really nice John I agree
Fantastic, nice to see you back in the skies. The cabin looks stunning indeed and these flat beds on a single aisle aircraft must be great. I'll keep them in mind...

Great video , fabulous Aircraft flew DUB to LHR on one in December 2021 in the buissness class . They are now flying Shannon to New York and Boston and on some flights Dublin to New York.
This is why I love aer Lingus
I'm taking this flight next week!
WOOW!! I.d like the A320NEO-family soo much. The multi-color cabin-lighting-system simply is breathtaking. Most likely I.d like the dark-blue- and lila lightings.
Nice trip report, DUB new north runway can be seen clearly when take off. So impressive with that new EI A321neo cabin interior.
Stunning plane would love to fly one!
Thanks for sharing. I'm flying the A321 Neo from Washington, D.C to Dublin in a couple of weeks. It looks very comfortable.
Wow awesome video! :) My home airport Dublin is looking so different with the new runway taking shape! Great insight into the Aer Lingus A321Neo - I am flying this same flight in a few weeks but in Business class, will be interesting to see how it compares to economy. Nice job :)
Yes the a321neo is used on routes from Dub-LHR in the morning and in the afternoon it flys to America.Also an a330 is used to fly to Malaga,Spain in the morning and then to America in the afternoon
The scenery was spectacular!
So good to have you back in the skies again My Trips! I get a sense that flying in this COVID-19 age is a whole different experience with the reduction in or absence of catering along with limited interactions with cabin crew. Some airlines have even stopped providing in-flight entertainment and Wi-Fi. The Aer Lingus A321neo is absolutely stunning!

Thanks Pierre. This was the first time I flew after 4 months nearly and it was totally different. The biggest shock was actually the empty airports and the closed shops. Hopefully, things will slowly return to as normal as possible
Dublin and indeed Ireland is in my top 3 places I have been to !! Dublin for the pubs and the people and Ireland for the scenery...the people and of course the pubs !! The airport looks like it has been upgraded since I was last here...and it needed to be !! So sad to see the airport like that...Ireland relies very heavily on tourism as you would know and they must be doing it tough at the moment !! Have done this flight quite a few times over the years and found Aer Lingus to be a most excellent carrier with great crew and always up for a laugh...but that is so typically Irish !! Yes I understand this aircraft type will do some of the American services when things return to what ever "normal" is. They are probably using it on short haul at the moment for pilot training with the new model for the airline. TAP in Portugal use a A321 Neo on their flights to the USA as well !! I think the Business Class config also leans toward flights to the USA. The only draw back with this airline is when I arrived or departed from Heathrow you had to walk miles to connect from the other terminals !! Well done as always...really enjoyed the flight !!

Oddly enough, it doesn’t. One of the least tourism dependent economies in the EU. Only 4.2% of GDP is tourism vs 9.9% for the UK, 21.4% for Iceland etc
Awesome review man, that cabin is extraordinary indeed 😍
Very beautiful and comfortable cabin as it looks indeed and the views of this wing are incredible. Excellent video and I'm really to glad to see a new video from you, well done and keep safe.

I Love "Aer Lingus" !!! They taught us to fly.
Great to see Aer Lingus getting good ratings, I never flew on them but will in 2022 to London Gatwick. #ProudToBeIrish
Really awesome!
Amazing trip report. If only all A321Neos were equipped with IFE. The aircraft looks comfortable even on longer flights
The new AL livery will take a bit of getting used to after all these years.
Aer Lingus and Dublin Airport are working together to make Dublin the European hub for transatlantic flights. Dublin Airport has US pre-clearance so you clear US immigration and customs before you board the plane so Europeans may choose to connect at Dublin rather than London Heathrow or Amsterdam. And Dublin Airport is building an additional new runway. The new Aer Lingus A321s are primarily for future new transatlantic routes. Aer Lingus is intending to have direct flights between all US states and Dublin. Aer Lingus started serving Hartford, Connecticut and Minneapolis, Minnesota in recent years.
Great review and great to see you back. I have used Aer Lingus in the past a couple of times and the experience has been above average. As Craig said, this is similar to TAP's A321neo that flies to the USA. I'd happily fly in that business class cabin or even in economy on this aircraft.

Thank you so much, the neo aircraft are actually famous for the quiet engines - you’re totally right. I’m not sure about reverse thrust though
Nice video, thank you. Aer Lingus bought those A321neo LRs to fly across the Atlantic and some primary European routes. I guess during Covid-19 only the European routes remain.

Nice to see you back in the skies! This is probably one of their new A321 Neo that in “normal” times will fly to eat coast of the USA. Hence the extra legroom, “extra” recline angle and individual IFE in economy and the fully lie flat seats in business. They most certainly use them now on short flights as being a new aircraft it is probably more fuel efficient than others.

I thought they were excellent Tony! When things go back to normal (as much as possible) I'd like to try the business class on that aircraft. Thanks a lot :)
Flying on this aircraft direct to JFK from MAN in February, so your suspicions about long haul are 100% accurate.
What a beaut!
Great review! I agree with you. Maybe the best economy cabin layout I ever saw for a narrow body plane. Maybe they use the A321 for some low density long haul route as well? Thanks for sharing and greetings!
@MyTrips_Aviation

They use it to fly to the US actually, thanks
It’s because it’s designed to be a long haul aircraft . The reason why there operating this aircraft on such a short route is because they need to get crew used to the plane . In several months time they will schedule the aircraft for long haul destinations such as the USA and Canada
A321 neo may go trans Atlantic. It can take 206 passenger 7400kms thats good enough to cross the Atlantic Ocean.
yes it does cross the atlantic. does flights from Dublin-Boston
Thank you for sharing this - I would NOT want to travel on this over the Atlantic to the USA / Canada!
Yes the neo is used on transatlantic to my knowledge they to the first lhr flight of the day last november i had the chance to go to hearthford Connecticut on ei lrb and i have to say even thought se were sitting in the last row of seata it was extremely comfortable meals were nice only downside is that the very rear toilet behind the jumpseat is very small.and to my knowledge this airplane is going to replace many of the 757 routes
@MyTrips_Aviation

Thanks noah, the transantlantic flight on this aircraft has suddenly come to the very top of my list!
The a321 neo is capable of going trans-Atlantic however I'm not sure if many airlines use it to do this.

Grest video . Sad to see the effect covid is having on airline travel. Dublin airport is usually packed with passengers. And the shopping is great so hopefully they will reopen again soon. It's part of the whole travel experience. With regards the neo's they will be used on transatlantic later on. Just on short haul at the moment for crew training and familiarisation. Great to see you flying again but did you have to self isolate ?.. cheers.

The neo engines are so quiet!
I really miss the old fully green aircraft livery, now it looks like any other airline.
Been used for some European destinations now
Sounds like the JetBlue A321 fuel pumps
I've never been on a plane and I'm 40 😢 my anxiety is too bad for enclosed spaces
They fly to Boston only for now on the a321 neo lr but that’s casue COVID

I have mentioned that you took this flight ✈️ quite recently. So did you really obey to the quarantine requirement of 14 days that were recently introduced in the UK?
@MyTrips_Aviation
4 жыл бұрын
Hello, thanks for asking. Flights from Ireland are exempt from this rule, practically I never left the UK (I just had to connect at Dublin on my way back to London from Edinburgh due to lack of direct flights at the moment). Also, I am a key worker (as defined by the UK) working in the medical sector and I had been asked to attend a meeting during this trip, so it wasn't a holiday or anything like that. As a result I did not need to quarantine. We're still unable to travel abroad on holiday unfortunately...

Expensive seats and facilities. If you want to see real economic seats, fly any of the Indian budget airlines. You will feel cramped.
not giving an in-flight service is a lame excuse on account of the virus to save a few quid on the part of the airlines...misers!!
Turkish Airlines A321neo cabin is better :)
An absolutely uncomfortable aircraft in economy class, it's the seats. The cushioning is total crap.
