Dimash sings only Dimash. He never ever sing perfect copies of originals. He takes covers and makes them his own.

You know, I am a huge Queen fan. I even have the "my soul is painted like the wings of butterflies" part tattooed in my left arm... And I am a dear. Damnit I am. Freddie sang this from the perspective of a man with life experiences, aware of the fact that he was "turning round the corner". I give his version a transcendence will. Dimash is a young powerful personal singer, an so is his version. Queen are his childhood heroes along with Michael Jackson. Bravo to both. Freddie would be proud. He gives us all he has to give. Not many performers do that anymore. He is a gift. He's 6'3" and wiry as a whippet. He models some of his clothing from shows. He looks his absolute most elegant in James Bond type tuxes. This child is destined to be considered the best male vocalist/performer in the world.

It is so great to see someone so moved by his talent. The more you hear and learn about him, the more you will appreciate it. He was good then but now, a more mature Dimash who never ever stops practicing and learning will stun you. He just performed two songs for the Tokyo Jazz Festival from his home studio due to the lock downs. They are just incredible. One is SOS which you reacted to first, and the other is a Kazakh song called Samaltau with traditional instruments played to reflect dogs, wolves etc. Just incredible. He also plays multiple instruments but he just sang sitting cross legged on a stool. Yes... he still hit the notes sitting.

BRAVO!! Bravo ...DIMASH singer has a rare voice range stile life... DIMASH- - FANTASTIC!! Thank you for this sniper reaction!!

Hmm, it looks like you're gonna cry a lot because of Dimash in the future. :)) He didn't speak English here at all. Now he does, even if he's not fluent. Despite the accent, here the sounds were so good musically. He makes every cover his. And his own songs are just unreal as well. His voice is more matured now. He's the closest thing to perfection I've ever heard. I used to say he was perfect, but 3 years later he's better, or more perfect? I don't know anymore. And his fandom is so nice, because we're reflecting him, that's what he attracts. Only the fact that he calls us dears speaks a lot about his personality. And we also talk about him so much, cause we want the world to know how awesome he is. Reacting to him chronologically is a good idea, you'll notice the evolution. There are some songs that have back stories you shouldn't miss before reacting, the Dears will guide you. Also, you should save some words for the later performances too. A rector said that when we want to express something higher than exceptional, unbelievable, exquisite etc., we should use dimash, this should be a new word above all these :)) I love watching people discovering Dimash and I'm a bit jealous on those first encounters with his music. But at the same time, how I feel about him now is similar to what someone feels after passing the initial butterflies stage in a relationship, you get to know them more and your feelings settle and get deeper. It might sound weird, but that's how I feel, I've learnt so much about his voice and about him. Dear for life!

I can not get over each time I watch his videos, no matter how many times I see the same songs, I am just completely arrested by how intensely beautiful he is physically along with the beauty and power and thrilling tone qualities of his voice. He does have so much more to give. When he sings, you can feel the emotions he expresses even though it may be in another language.

Мне показалось что в какую минуту у меня оборвется дыхание, насколько своим исполнением он дает прочувствовать песню, хотя и слов не понимаешь, но ты живешь этой песней, здесь и сейчас ,и ты дышишь, пока звучит голос Димаша, а потом тишина и надо время чтобы прийти в себя, мне кажется вы тоже что-то подобное испытали, если у вас появились слёзы

It’d be a lot of fun to hear him front Queen for a night-or maybe a duo with Adam Lambert, whose voice is also quite beautiful on a very different level. Fun fact: I stumbled into Dimash because I was watching young kids’ reactions to Freddie Mercury and Queen, and found one where a voice coach was analyzing Freddie’s beautiful, unusual voice. I saw another reaction in her feed, this one for Dimash. They’re so very different, Dimash and Freddie, but there’s plenty of room to enjoy both.

Я думаю Фредди Мерькюри апплодирует Димашу , улыбается с небес и поёт вместе с ним ! Можно сказать - что "кавер" песни прозвучал по особенному в исполнении Димаша !!!!!!! Мне очень нравятся каверы На песни Мйкла Джексона в исполнении Димаша ! Он просто отдаёт "дань уважения" Великим певцам- становясь сам Великим ! Он уже "вошёл" в историю музыки - совершивший "революцию" в музыкальном мире - в шоке все- профессиоалы, певцы, музыканты... Он поёт так- как совершенно невозможно, но в его исполнении это ЗВУЧИТ !!!!!!!!

А мне вот Кавер на Earth Song у Димаша не очень как-то: оригинал мощнее. Сугубо ИМХО!

It doesn't matter what he sings, he becomes that song. You should check out "Love is Like a Dream".

I'd stay in 2017 for awhile and grow along with him... He's done great stuff lately but, I wouldn't rush it. Enjoy the journey!

Он проникает в каждую клетку моего тела,...так, что душа разрывается на части...правильно, одного раза мало,нужно прослушать несколько раз, чтоб понять что творит этот молодой человек. ..настолько это неповторимо, волшебно. , всё окружающее уходит куда то, улетает,растворяется, словно в тумане...остаётся только этот голос...космический. ..и только в конце песни делаешь выдох и понимаешь,это был не сон, это было наяву

I love this performance because Dimash performed it in his own style and he respects the original song. He's a big Freddie Mercury fan so this was a lot of fun for him . He didn't speak English back then and he's so much better now......he always works hard to improve himself and he's been changing before our eyes. Great reaction and welcome to the Dear community!
