Recently discovered theGR86 and how good SOME of the racing can be. My IR and safety rating is taking a hit though....

Great race! I love how Dave deals with aggressive drivers. You can tell how much more experienced he is than McDonalds car.

tbf, they were both as bad as each other, Dave just made fewer mistakes, and tried to hold it around the outside when there potentially wasn’t room in the first place several times

That's a cracker. Veins of ice going into the bus stop on the final lap! Was expecting multiple casualties.

I don't normally comment on your videos Dave but I've been SimRacing for about 12 years and just want to say that you are THE BEST sim racing youtuber. You show tremendous race craft, provide interesting content, all while being tremendously entertaining. Keep it up!!!

I had some good racing @ spa today in the GR86 too, I manage to eat my breakfast, lunch and dinner on the straights, worked out a dream 😊

Great move to take the lead towards the end, and hanging David out to dry as he'd been trying to do to you ... and even better three wide at the end!!!! 😜

I'm in a Dave Cam video! I only started watching Dave's videos at some point after this race, but this was one of my favourites ever so came back to have a look. Might only have been a 7th place finish, but less than 2 seconds from 1st-7th and this was the first race I ever felt I could maybe keep up with some of the big guns

Great finish Dave!!

I really enjoyed my race with this combo right up until the end. Qualified with a 2:51.930, and pole. Kept the lead a bit, but that draft got second place past me, but it was competitive the whole way. I ALMOST had it back at the end, but going into the final chicane, I was going to let him have it. Second place felt pretty good for a low-incident race. And then. And then he hit the breaks early going into it. I reacted hard, slid a bit into the back of him, pushed him off. I pulled over and stopped to let him recover, I wasn't going to take 1st after that. Shoulda figured a safe early break into there to finish, but... gah. Anyway, let one person pass me - hopefully if was him - and took second. Still feel bad about it, though. Such a good clean race, and then right at the end a bump.

I've been enjoying this combo this week, even though I'm in the bottom splits. Still about 5 seconds off Dave's qualifying time though!

Recently made the decision to build a PC for iRacing. Looking forward to getting in to it

I have been on this combination a few times and yes I agree it is fun, but there seem to be some that try to turn it into a ram to win or brake block all the time. I have managed to be belted off the track numerous times and lost a few points. But as you say Dave it is a fun combination.

McDonald’s reminded me of Max or Dale Earnhardt. Really good & Aggressive to a point.

Had to deal with a guy like that last night,(david) super aggressive doing every trick in the book. dirty trick like blocking. to the point that everyone behind us just didn't wanna fight him. hate that this style of driving is getting more and more common.

That's why I don't like cars with too much draft because when you have the superior speed you just can't pull away from the dirty drivers and leave them in the dust. It's like a persistent headache that won't go away, or a bad fart that lingers!

Man. Did 3 gr86 races on spa today and was taken out all 3 times.

Dave know you did review of wheel earlier, and you mentioned cable from wheel just noticed it sticks out a bit dose it affect you by hitting anything while turning wheel Great race though nice move at last chicane for the win

I get stressed racing because I know that a crash I cause can literally hurt someone lol. The powerful 30Nm wheels will literally break fingers or a wrist. Shit gets intense!

This was the best sim race I've watched today.

It's a Precision Sim Engineering Pro Switch Panel and it's mounted with a Ram Mount. I made a video a short while ago of you wanted to know more 👍

Man, I’m struggling with this race. I love spa, but I’m getting smoked through radion and the straight. Even taking it flat out all the way from turn one on, with tow, im still getting passed and falling behind. I don’t understand how I can go faster than flat out, following in tow of the car in front of me, yet they just pull away like they’ve got the better car.

You've got to scrub the least you can and just let the car flow 👍

Elbows out requires the same back, sooner the better or else he will think he can do more and get worse. I had this in the TCC and a guy moaned like a bitch when i returned it but he learned his lesson.

Damn good race but best race of the day has to go to Malone's skippy race.

Why dont you use triples? Challenge?
