This one is better for actual races. To do the mushroom gorge ultra, a mushroom is required. This leaves the possibility to do that shortcut up to random chance. This shortcut however can be done shroomless, making it more consistent and thusforth better for a real race.

I believe the words you were looking for were "This is in vanilla, but it is an exploit." This says that it is not hacked, but is not reasonable.

I mean this shortcut can get usage in clan races but online not really.

What's particularly egregious is that the track wasn't exploitable in that way in MKDS.

This pales in comparison to Super Circuit Cheese Land's 0.07 second cut in laps 2 and 3.
