@@Ferreri.Workshop It does feel good to try and make a dream come true…hoping this goes well. I’ve always wanted to give this a try and hopefully fail or succeed, I’ll show my kids you’re never too old to chase a dream. Appreciate the kind words! 👊🏼
This whole time I’ve been keeping my router bits right next to my router table like an idiot! 😂

I don't know if you got time to answer a question like this - I have the Oneida Gorilla like you. What small things like the Festool sander, router, drill press, 12" sanders etc. (Small things) can be used with it. 1 1/2" inlet items. There seems to be a question about air flow. At 73 I am a big Celtic fan - started with people like Havlicek and the Chief, Bill Russell. .

@@andrewpinson1268 Hey! Fellow Celtics fan! I started watching around 1982 and was spoiled watching Bird, McHale and Parrish! Great years for sure and I have a huge appreciation for those older teams as well! To answer the dust collection question in regard to smaller inlet tools. I’ve found that using just a good shop vac works better for those actually. The action of decreasing the hose diameter from the 6” Mini Gorilla will hamper the CFM and prevent good flow/suction. I’m not sure on the science of it all, but the shop vacs are better suited to pull vacuum on those smaller style tools. Festool, Fein, SurPrep and Mirka make very nice versions…but they can be pricey. I got by using a Rigid teamed up with a Dust Deputy for many years! Worked very well! Appreciate the comment and Go Celtics!!!

@@HescottDesignCo Thanks. I forgot to say that I do have three Fein (high dollar) vacuums. However I am trying to justify having bought the Oneida. I only have a small jointer, 13" planer, router table and nothing else big for now. Miter saw and small table saw might be used on it.

@@andrewpinson1268 This seems like a great way to buy some new tools to use it on! At least that’s what I would tell myself! I will say my Mini Gorilla did a very fine job these last 6 years of use. Great little machine and you’ll enjoy having it in your shop space.
Great video! Awesome shop. What type of setup is that for the dust in the air ? Caterpillar drum fan ? attached to what?
@HescottDesignCo

I appreciate that! You are spot on, it’s a caterpillar fan and a MERV 15 environment filter (Wynn). Let me see if I can add the link in descriptions later!
I have clamp envy.😅

Hahaha!!! You just can never have enough! 😊
You have an air filter on the floor. It says “gate pillar” I think. Can you tell me where you got that and who the manufacturer is? Thank you.

If you mean the 24”x24” filter over the floor air return, I just grabbed it from Amazon. Trying to keep the dust out of the furnace a bit. Let me know if that’s what you mean 👊🏼☺️
